so I bought the laptop. It displays two batteries. It was charging when I got there. I started using it and checking the specs and camera etc. So it was 85 when I unplugged it and then I switched it off. When I turned it on it was displaying 81.

I thought nothing of it and took it home. I got home and turned it on and saw 49%. Now I'm charging it and it stopped charging at 92% with the battery one at 100% and battery 2 at 80%. I complained to the seller.


He says I should unplug it and start using it and charge it to full again when it gets to 2%. I am confused here.

Is it normal for the battery 2 to stop charging at 80 percent?

check the lenovo vantage app in your pc and see if a charging threshold was set, I set my pc to stop charging at 80%
