Not putting price can make the person ask u for assistance towards what he/she can afford.
Not putting price will give u the avenue to return call to anyone that suit u after negotiation.
In a nutshell, to call should be the most preferable thing for anyone who is going for a dog worth thousands of naira

Of course a medium for negotiating and better understanding what u are getting will be in place. Probably just a misunderstanding on both parties. I think what @ikunekenwa meant was the puppies are quite cheap as both parents should command more price and he expressed his surprise. As mr pera just explained. And you are not wrong as well yes mr pera has the right to put his own price... But probably both ikunekenwa and pera have done business b4 hence the curiosity. If you say beautiful German shepherd puppies, then we’d all be in the post admiring the puppies. But working line is a big word !! And if you’d use it, then you must have receipt.

Do you know that not all showlines have extreme angulation(slant back) as people think showlines should, in such a case, posting pictures does not prove it is showline cos it will not have the slant back that you expect showlines to have, how do you now know it’s a showline or working line?
Some working lines could also be positioned in a stacking position that makes it appears to have a slant back.

But I still understand your point for calling the dogs working line since Gsd’s are usually either working or showlines, same way I understand Princetobi point.

This thought entered my mind because I was thinking of the stud I’d be using when my Rottweiler comes on her second heat. I planned on taking it to the place I bought her from for mating because the guy I bought her from has other good, in-fact exceptional males. But now, there is one very good male in my area, well built, big head, long body, wide chest, in fact if the guy that owns it told me he bought it for 200k, there would be no inch of doubt in me. It is very big and more good looking than many pedigree detailed Rottweiler I’ve seen. But now the thing is, I’m not sure the dog has a pedigree detail and I talked to a friend about it because I really liked the dog. What he was saying was in that same direction about using a pedigree detailed stud because it has name.

So my question now is, Phenotype vs Pedigree details which should be considered more important?

I have seen pictures of many hyped Rottweilers. When you hear people talk about it eh, e go be like baba. But when I see the dog’s picture, I just feel like that’s not how it’s supposed to be; short muzzle Rottweiler(even many imported) looking like a Pug, but they say it’s a top Rottweiler because it has a strong pedigree detail. I do not mean to condemn any pedigree detail dog though. This is just my humble opinion.

So what do you guys think?

But to me pedigree is just a registered dog with family history. Some non registered dogs thats non pedigree are better than some pedigree in terms of body built and size. And please note that because your puppies has a pedigree father doesn't mean you will have pedigree puppies. You female isn't registered. You will just have purebreed puppies and no one will buy at pedigree price. Maybe higher than normal but not at pedigree price.
