Politics › Re: Retired Generals Behind Illegal Mining, Says Oshiomhole by Ndenomy: 7:51am On Jan 25, 2025 |
[sup][/sup] kushme: These guys called generals are part of the problems we have. They don't have big hearts, they only think of themselves, they want to be rich like the politicians, so tell me, who go check who for corruption? and mostly feel untouchable by the Nigerian state. Why do we have too much generals(retired/serving) and high security challenges in the land at the same time? Cut the number of these men you call generals, cos they ain't worth it. Just the other day, one dey slap one boy for road. Gaddafi was a colonel but did way better than any man who ever wore a uniform in Nigeria and called himself a general.
They have one stupid mentality of we are better than you/them. So, we can do anyhow and nothing will happen.
Both past presidents and the present President are kind of scared of them cos the power of the people is divided. If only we the people can unite and support an upright man who's fearless!!!! Most of them case go be sorry, but for now nothing dey happen. The ones serving would later retire and join them, too. The illegal mining business would expand the more. The cabals |

Bwanasaraw: Russia couldn't protect Assad despite military cooperation signed by both countries many years ago. That's why I laughed when I saw the news of military cooperation with Iran. Once the Mullah's are removed from power that cooperation will become useless. Ali Khamenei is already 85 years old
Russia are now begging Sudan to allow them park their war ships. SMH

Basicend: Russia (Putin) does not have economic power to spread bases and combat the American strategic spread in several locations.
The only reason the world powers are careful with attacking Russia is their age-long war weapon assets, particularly, the nuclear ones. In which, a lot are already obsolete.
Apart from a nuclear war which may most likely destroy both ends, Russia is very far below USA in leveraging infrastructure and logistics for further expansion of its presence and influence.
That is why you will see that America is often much bothered today about China and everything it does. Becoz China has closed-marked them in many areas and have the capacity to meet up and surpass. Or has already surpassed them? USA runs a capitalist economy what else do you expect? |

He can only try, Nigeria needs visionary leaders that will take on developments from the previous administration. We have only few people with fear of God /good intentions to rule this country thats why people like Yaradua comes once in a blue moon and die untimely when dey do. Foreign Affairs › Re: China President Xi Rejects Trump's Inauguration Invite (Photos) by Ndenomy: 8:51pm On Dec 15, 2024 |
It's different if Trump had invited Xi formally after the swearing in ceremony on a State Visit
What's another 3–4 months?
You get sworn in during January and invite Xi in April Or May
Instead inviting Xi to the swearing in Ceremony is IMPOSSIBLE because TRUMP IS A CIVILIAN until he takes Oath on 20/1/2025
Until then Biden is the President and his Administration is in charge
So Xi can't accept Trump's Invitation unless the WH approves and State Department approves
Modi was already PM in 2019 and so he could invite people for his Inauguration in 2024
Had Trump been re elected in 2020 , he could have invited Xi
Today as a Civilian, Trumps invitation is the same as if I INVITED XI TO CHENNAI FOR MY BIRTHDAY PARTY
Sure Xi can attend but his security, his diplomatic route, his protection detail - they will all have to be arranged by the Biden Administration
So it was a pointless and stupid invite with no actual purpose
Maybe the Syphilis finally got to Trumps teeny tiny brain cells😁😁😁 |

A supposedly world power, watched and did nothing as its ally was overwhelmed by rebels. Now they have lost their only military presence in the middle-east.
Can't imagine this happening to Israel. Y’all dumb. Look even the soldiers of the said Syria are fleeing which means no moral, what then do you expect Russia to do here? Besides it would be a waste of resources, tanks, money, personnel for a war which its people don’t even want to fight? |

Botragelad: Ukraine's really taking the mickey out of Putin. They're calling his bluff, and he's not delivering on his nuclear threats. All bark and no bite. He's been making these bold statements, but when it comes down to it, nothing's happening.
Now, since the West has lifted restrictions on Ukraine's military might, Putin's been crying foul all over the media. Talk about a right old tantrum! It's almost like he's trying to save face after his threats didn't work out. 😂
Good on Ukraine for standing up to Putin's noise. Slave Ukraine🇺🇦! Foolish people will commend Netanhyahu on Gazans but condemn Russia on Ukraine. Lets see how this goes nah, note that there’s a red line and Ukraine has just crossed it. I just hope you won’t start shouting ‘war crime’ on top of your voice when Russian starts vaporizing Ukraine?
