Optimisticgondy: I don't know why but have you ever noticed if those high impact news on forexfactory not on forexpros really move the market? We can start to observe this henceforth. Well, I still prefer using th forexpros news calendar.

bro i still prefer forexpros ooooo,,been using forexfactory before they list too many news as high impact,,but forexpros very little and important..and their data on forexpros comes out immediately,,they even give little tips on what might happen on currencies when it either positive or negative,,but to be on the safe side,,i go for those news that both forexfactory and forexpros list as high important so as to be on the safe side,,missed trade is better than lost cash,,bom money no dey finish

sure i understand the summary is that once a news is negative and you notice it on your chart moving up,,you chill,,but once it starts goin to the negative news direction,,you enter.

So wot i usually do is dat once a high impact news is released,i look at my chart and see d direction its going...if for e.g, d news is negetive EUR, my bet will be that eurgbp will fall..so i look at my chart, if it has started falling, i place a fall bet..bt like i said sometimes u will see it rising before falling..in dat case, i wait 4 it to rise well and start falling b4 i place d bet...

nice one,but please do you know why there are discrepancies betwwen forexfactory and forexpros,,some news listed as high impact news on forexfactory can be listed as not high impact on forexpros or sometimes the news is not even listed at all.

once your bet has expired positive or negative...the sell/claim will appear once your click on it if its positive the amount will reflect in your main account.

abeg i no be sir,,i be your boy,once you click bet thats when your time will start counting..please make sure you get the data first to know if its negative or positive so you can know the direction, you can open different tab and open your bom account and choose different trade on different page,,hope this helps,,another thing please ask we are all learning,,and please remember money mangement no system is 100% guaranteed,,like how oga naijaobi pointed out something.

nice one bro,,thats the aim of it all for us to put heads together..you made a point though i havent noticed it doesnt mean it doesnt happen,,me no be forex guru started with bom,,but like i say i havent noticed it but as you have pointed it out i will keep an eye for it,,but normally i do trade all pairs related to the currency affected,,like yesterday was gbp,, i traded gj,gu,gc,eg,today was cad,,i traded uc,gc.ec,,all was profitable except eg yesterday 15mins,,it moved in my direction beginnin frm the first minute but started retracin frm the 10th min,,thats why today i used 5mins and won all.i do check chart before trading..so bro is dere any possibility that all the pairs might go in the other direction for 7mins before retracin,,why am askin is that if out of all the pairs related to the news if 1 will move in opposite direction while others will still move in the right direction am still okay,at least in the business,losing is among,,so oga naijabbi abeg enlighten me more about news trading,so we all can be learning,,thanks..

bro bom money no they finish,,let me also introduce smtin to the house to help u curb indiscipline,,do you know bom has settings that can enable you set the amount you want to bet in a day,,the duration you want to be online,,the number of positions you want to be open and finally ýou can exclude yourself from the site for a particular time,,I use the last one beginning frm last week friday,,once I reach my target for a day even if na for morning I set a limit so no matter what I can't trade again till the next day,,that way I have reduced unnecessary lossses arising from over betting..the stuff is called self exclusion settings on bom...nice features to fight greed,,cos greed is the greatest enemy in financial world,,even gurus are still fighting it.

bro did u notice that those critical pricing days are over in bom,,and bro from experience me no dey trade speech or conference again,,since am not watchin it live,,for example draghi can make a positive statement in a speech,,which will excite investors and move market in one direction,,next thing in that same speech,,he will make another statement that its not pleasing to investors,,market to change direction again,,I think I will stick to the data own release so once I see negative I knw its negative and know the direction,,once its positive I know its positive and knw the direction too.

QUESTION: How soon do u usually enter a bet after d news is released?

Do u goto forexpros econo calendar minutes b4 news release n perch there like a hawk, watching and observing and immediately d news data show u rush into mkt n place ur bet? Will it still be ok 2 enter a bet say 15 or more minutes afta d news appeared on d econo calendar, esp for a not-so-high-impact news?

bro I go to the calendar minutes before it is released and perch ooo..like today for the cad news,I opened forexpros,my chart and bom by 1.25pm as the news comes up by 1.30pm,I set my time to 5mins,and choose UC,,then eyes glued on forexpros report,,immediately even before 1.31pm the data came out positive.Immediately I clicked fall uc,,another bet,choose gc,,click fall,same with ec fall,,bro why I prefer 5mins is dat most of this news reaction is temporary,,yesterday when gbp news came up,I used 15mins,I lost one cos by 15mins they have started pickin up back,but 5mins and 10won,,so today I used 5mins so I no go hear story and all won,,and after sometime too they started pickin up,,am just tryin to play safe..the system is nt perfect,,bt yesterday and today news I have won 7 and lost 1..and I do stick with high impact news on forexpros because sometimes the high impact news on forexfactory is medium impact on forexpros..

nedbert: bro you are correct, thats the purpose of the thread to brainstorm no one knows it better, like there is another thing i notice that i use to cash on..i call it late reaction strategy.. for example if i notice on my chart that all of a sudden eu is falling heavily and dere was no news,but i check gu or nu or au, and they are yet to fail they are just sluggish and eu is falling, i will quickly go a bet on fall for gu, nu and au,cos they are mostly corellated.,i havent lost yet with this sha,though it doesnt happen always, but am patient,i call it late reaction, am not a forex guru, but a guru can shed more light on this too and why.

i just used this to chop on the cad news released it came out immediately on forexpros positive so i went gc,uc,ec all fall 5mins,,i over won them sef....

harizonal123: Due to several complaints of Betonmarkets traders, of Bom not living up to expectations. I went on a long research, trying to find another binary option broker that would be better of than Bom. I came up with the following.
1. 98% of binary option brokers don't offer demo account. Even wen they do, u must fund ur life account B4 a demo is offered.
2. 98% of them are not regulated.
3. Nearly all of their clients have difficulties in withdrawal & find withdrawal process complicated.
4. Keep away from those ones that offer's big bonuses & no deposit bonus cos b4 withdrawal u are required trade 20 or 25*wager(bonus), which is the requirement before withdrawal. Meaning $100 bonus must equal to a profit of $2000 minimum balance.
5. Monthly withdrawal must not exceed initial deposit or u r charged with extra fee for additional withdrawal.
6. Most of their clients have a common complain of wrong data feed & data manipulation.
7. Minimum investment as high as $25 per trade.
8.Alot of fraud & scam alerts on binary option brokers.
9. Some minimum withdrawal as high as $200. If u had a loss & have $ 199 as balance, it cannot be withdrawn.
10. Some of the good brokers that I found do not even offer ''option builder''.where u can set ur expiry time & the amount u'r willing to risk. They aways have expiry time that's already on the traing platform such as 15,m 30m, 1h, 1d & 1w with a mininum investment amount of mayb $25 to choose.
These are the ones I can remember,there r lots more.
However, if u r still interested in making profit & withdrawing ur profit safely wit no complain, here r the few I find reliable. No scam alerts & r regulated.

Conclusion: Most of d complain listed here r very rare with BOM. So, my advice 4 now is to remain with bom. They will be back & better
