Jonathan is gradually building his conflict resolution CV.

We can do better and we must. Great respect for our Northern brothers but our thinking is different. Except we are lying to ourselves.

And makes mockery of the truth.

Or population control. The system is unfair and is founded on a lie. Any system built on a lie, needs more lies to sustain it.

After my NYSC, we formed a group and that group didn't last a year because when issues like child marriage were discussed the difference was so wide.

The problem of NIGERIA are huge but not insurmountable. The nation has to be restructured.

You will see how they will begin to flourish with you monitoring and assisting them as needed.

What you do is that you separate them and tell them to live differently and succeed with their own beliefs.

They will keep fighting themselves or at best fighting in their minds since there is always good food.

The Southern part is too different from the Northern part. Our reasoning are not the same at all. It is like forcing 2 people who thinks differently but believe so much in their beliefs to stay in one room. It can't work.

Likewise in the West

You can't marry a 14 year old child in the East and people will not look at you with scorn

That kind of person can't reason with me. I think NYSC has outlived it's usefulness but one thing it quickly reveals is the fact that we are fundamentally different as a people.

And beat the child. Like the normal child beating. The man came to warn all of us that we should not beat 7 year old boy for coming to do his thing in front of our lodge.

And the difference is huge. It is not the same at all. One mallam's son came to defaecate in front of our lodge during NYSC and trust my colleagues. They were outraged.

Every region has its own positives and negatives. Indeed some have more positives than the other.

NEWACADEMY:
We don't have to be the same because we are not the same but we can accept our differences and respect them.

We will be fooling ourselves if we think we are thesame.

Someone who will inspire a good sense of Nationhood.

Someone that will bring us together as one people with one goal.

We need a unifier

The greater problem of our nation is lack of unity. The people are not United. All these insecurity is part of this lack of unity.

They are the melting point indeed.

That is why people still say it is the Southwesterners that are still holding this nation together.

The negative sentiment is worst in the east, worse in the Southwest and bad in the North.
