THanks. This is the NL link for the 2006 Accord (https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-276912.0.html#msg3943595). I am so surprised because when I spoke to the Dealer on the phone, he (*emeshot*) told me the car is clean and it has never been involved in an accident i.e. Clean title. This one wey no get AIRBAG! I also wonder what the car has been doing in Algeria since it has been shipped in 07/008!! Fear grip me ooo. 

As per the 2005 Accord (https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-271518.99999.html#bot). The report is as given on the thread by the Poster. I commend his (*Viperman*) honesty ,  Well, I still would like to know if you can cut me a deal on a 2005 Accord EX ofcourse. Spoiler & Black Interior with Mad Wheels would be a plus. Black or Grey prefered. But, since the dollar is rising and I have been searching for 05-07 (https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?topic=270079.msg3838812#msg3838812) for about a month now prior my arrival next week, June, time and cost would be a determining factor.

You can't even get a 2003 accord for 2mil; unless if u want a car with salvage title! The car is cheap at 2.5mil

Ahhh! Na wa oo,  I have been seeing so many threads on this Auto Section but I am leaving my comment on this. I hate people that go to newspaper stand every morning, to argue about football and politics. Since Fashola has cleared out alot of them, some people come on Auto Section of NL, jump into other people's thread since their newspaper vendor's place at the bus-stop has been cleared, all in the name of criticism, to start unnecessary arguements,

I do agree with you about the Bull Dog because I have been using it for a while now and nothing like Gear Problem. I still have it. I am on Nairaland to get a good deal for Accord 2005 with no plans to sell the Bull Dog. I have heard thesame stories about 1998-2004 Model. im not sure iys the fault of the other guy that drove it. check oil level in the gear. change the gear if proiblem continues. Good luck

By the way, how much was it at cotonou?

Thanks for the advice but a mechanic checked and said its the gear and it occured because he screeched off on starting the car. Just like over-speeding a manual transmission wihtout changing from Gear 1. Like I wrote above, its a friend's car so I dont have an idea how much he bought it,

Thanks for this thread. I spoke to a friend earlier on the phone and he was telling me about his car which wont accelerate after pushing the gear to drive D4. He suspects this occured after he gave his car to another friend of ours who screeched off without waiting for the gear to change (he came to the club with a power bike, so drove an automatic transmission car like one). My friend called a mechanic to check the car this morning, as it was towed to the house by another car from the club, and the mechanic said, there is a need to change the gear box which cost approx 95k or more in Nigeria as we speak. Please advise, what can he do to this problem, or better still save some cash, in relation, to the letter you posted above,

PS: The car is a Honda Accord 2000, 4 Cylinder, Auto Transmission and it was purchased from Cotonou in April with 124k+ Mileage,
