Christianity EtcWho Is The Prince Of Persia? by Nicenancy(op): 10:53am On Mar 19, 2025
Who is this being who was withstood by the prince of persia in Daniel 10:13?

Also, who is this prince of persia?

What actually happened? What is the meaning of that he got withstood?

How many were with the prince of persia?

Thank you

Daniel 10:12-13
[12]Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.
[13]But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.

She is used to assassinating my husband's character to virtually everybody.

She is fond of speaking against the fact that my husband speaks in tongues, "always praying in tongues meanwhile it doesn't reflect in your life, even Satan won't listen to your prayers."

She is fond of casting aspersions at my husband "some people always read the Bible yet are very dirty"

My mother in-law has a son who has suffered epilepsy for 30 years now; my husband and his kinsmen have spent so much money on this epilepsy yet no cure. My mother periodically will recommend a new place for the healing of this epileptic but the monies will always go down the drain.

My husband has since resolved not to contribute to that epilepsy scheme again since he believes it is spiritual and a scheme to drain the family.

We once lived with her in my husband's late father's home where my mother in law also lived. My mother in law always picked quarrels with us including our little children, finally we parked out. The day we finally left, my mother-in law literally swept were our feet had touched with a broom.

My husband had a single room apartment in that compound that he gave out for rent. No tenant could live in that room. All tenants complained of strange and scary encounters at night in that room. When they all inquire, they are told that there is a spiritual dispute over ownership of that room between my husband and his mother. Eventually, my husband gave this keys to the room to his mother and now tenants can occupy the room.

All the other siblings of my husband are faced with serious life challenges and my mother in law has brainwashed all of them against my husband.

You are deceiving yourself if you think you know everything about your husband more than his own mother who gave birth to him.

The woman, from what you narrated, regard your husband as a pretender and hypocrite and she's not happy he's deceiving others who don't know him very well .

But because you're in love, you have interpreted her behavior as that of a witch.

The woman may be trying to help you through what she's displaying in your presence so you start asking questions about the man you're married to and know the whole truth about him.

Well, I may be wrong, but if you think your mother in law is a witch, then your husband is also a witch.

you have referred to her more times as mother in law than your husband's mother, I thought he may not be her biological child.

By the way, witches are not beings you try to logically analyze, if witches in stories are said to eat their own children not sure we should expect a witch not to hate and hurt their children.

Asking if she is a witch, some people get bewitched and act like witches even though they themselves are not.

But from you write up it is clear you are dealing with forces of wickedness be it in the woman or from elsewhere.

Any advice, well pray, you both should ask God for mercy and deliverance for your family. Because if God destroys stronghold of wickedness lives and souls would be saved, even the siblings and possibly mother in law may repent and be saved as well. You can add fasting and charity to it.
Thanks so much

By the way, he is her biological son

You christians are hypocrites! When it comes to confession of sins, you will remember that your God hears in spirit. I'm yet to see any Christian confessing his/her sins loudly the way you guys pray loudly.

Your husband is simply disturbing the environment with noise. If he had prayed in his mind, I mean the way he always CONFESSES HIS SINS in his mind, your mother inlaw wouldn't have been disturbed.
Please, my husband doesn't disturb.

Kindly read the post again.

Even now some women have vowed to never have children because they don't want them, they consider the idea of being responsible for someone else's upbringing as a burden to them while others had plans to have children, only for them to have one and decide that they didn't want to have more because motherhood isn't for them... They'd only manage the one they already have.

Then there are those women who have children, but low-key hate them... I've heard two women confessing about how they hate being mothers and regret having children, but they have no choice but to care and love them because there's nothing they can do about it... Some only had children to please their men.
Could it be spiritual?

Good evening

So my husband was visited by his mother. My husband has a habit of praying at night. He began praying (not loud) at midnight. His mother who was in the other room rushed in and said

"stop that, so something doesn't enter your mind."

There have been several instances where my mother in law has treated my husband like he is a stranger

One Christmas, my husband bought clothes for his mother — his mother rejected them, "they are not quality, why don't you use them yourself?"

She is used to assassinating my husband's character to virtually everybody.

Is this normal?

Are these signs of witchcraft?

Do witches hate prayer?

Can a mother bewitch her own son?

Christianity EtcWho Rules In The Affairs Of Men? Who Gives The Kingdoms Of The World To Whomever by Nicenancy(op): 6:49am On Mar 12, 2025
In Daniel 4:32, a watcher (heavenly being) declares to King Nebuchadnezzar that The Most High (God) rules in the kingdom of men and gives the kingdoms of the world to whomever He wishes:

Daniel 4:32
And they shall drive you from men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. They shall make you eat grass like oxen; and seven times shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.

In Luke 4:5-6 however, Satan claims that the kingdoms of the world has been delivered into him and he gives them to whomever he wishes:

Luke 4:5-6
[5]Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
[6]And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.

When was this authority given to Satan? If you claim when Adam in fell, the story of Daniel happened thousands of years after Adam. If at the time of Daniel, God was still ruler over the kingdom of men and gives it to whomever He wishes then the Adamic theory is flawed.

Let's have your thoughts backed by scriptures

I'm agnostic. In the Nigerian context, pagan is often (and incorrectly) used to describe someone who is irreligious. That’s the meaning I’m working with here.

I believe I’d have a smoother relationship with a good, nonreligious woman than with a born-again, prayerful Christian—though I have nothing personal against the latter. I just don’t think our values would align well, which could make it difficult for us to fulfill crucial roles in each other’s lives. For example, she might naturally expect her husband to be a spiritual leader, a role I wouldn’t be able to fill.

The challenge, however, is that nonreligious women are rare. When encounter them, they often tend to be staunch feminists or woke.
