His interview was way before ours and i think that policy wasn't effective at the time because the embassy instructed us to bring the euros in cash at the interview maybe as a result of that policy you mentioned.

Anyway it's best you make the change in a bureau de change just like @bewaje ( i did the same but not in Nigeria ) to avoid getting fake notes.

How did you guys pay 60Eur visa fee. Did bank collect the EUR from you in Bank ? cos of CBN policy.

Brother, there are some questions in the visa application form that I'm not really clear with.

* " For what period and purpose are you applying for resident permit ". I know the purpose to be study but what period are they talking about cos they put date space there ?

* " Last permanent residence abroad"----I do not have any permanent residence abroad, should I have to leave it blank?

* "Monthly amount of scholarship"------ I don't have scholarship either, leave blank?

* "Any additional income/asset" ---- I only have one sponsor and I have written down the closing balance in the area asked " Available Savings "

I would be happy if you can answer these questions quickly.

Hey im just reading you right now. You must look for other bureau de change or forex bureau. If you can't find any in your town ask someone you know in abuja to make it for you so you can get it.

Hmm. I really don't know how u going to do all these between now and 31st July. The school has a representative in Lagos n they help all students in procurement of all necessary documents and attestation. All documents by prospective students are ready to be posted to Cyprus for Visa application by 27th July but I ll advise u email the school, I am sure you must have been talking to Ms. Andrea. Write and ask her the possibilities of the rep here in Lagos could still be able to assist.
