Yet the BRICS Nations are sitting down with China and Russia figuring out ways to sidestep the dollar, but yesterday we saw the US President-elect handing them a reason to unite while slamming the door on American businesses that rely on exports.

The truth is, Trump and America can continue this bullying, bullying smaller countries to stay at the top, No you can’t just bully your way to dominance in a global economy forever.

Instead of threatening 100% tariffs on BRICS Nation as reported here, how about making sure America is the best damn trading partner they could have?

Possible move to fix the dollar’s long-term credibility by tackling our debt and budget deficits. Work with allies instead of insulting them. Maybe even invest in smart reforms to make the global market system fairer to all countries, so emerging economies stick with the US instead of running toward alternatives.

But yesterday, we saw the opposite, Trump is rather screaming into your gold-plated echo chamber and pretending that shouting “America First!” fixes everything, maybe yes and possibly no.

In all possible findings, here’s the hard truth: If BRICS or anyone else moves away from the dollar, it won’t be because of some tariff threat the incoming Trump administration is cooking up.
