US stopped buying our oil since last year, because of their greater focus on shale oil. So exactly which kind of 'support' are they offering to us now?

Shale gas was a scam, cost for crude oil production through fracking is not sustainable, USA knows this but used it as a viable excuse to punish Nigeria for several reasons beyond my knowledge

Besides, the important thing is for Nigerians to support and endorse it. Not bothered about USA or any other external endorsement.

You can't support what you don't approve. The strategic importance of USA to global energy demand cannot be over emphasized. we will drink our oil without the USA's patronage.

Buhari is required by law to do so, Ibe Kachikwu is not required by law to do so but he has presented himself for scrutiny....

Transparency must be re-instated in the NNPC... God bless the PMB for having the foresight to bring in reasonable people into government. I hope the incoming Ministers show same level of forthrightness.

The new GMD of NNPC Ibe Kachikwu told staff of NNPC, that he will be declaring his assets in the coming weeks as a show of transparency to running the corporation.

He urged management staff to follow his steps and declare their assets too even if there is no law requiring them to do so.
