Sure, current Kenshin is rusty...but Shishio Makoto is no joke...

This man was shot multiple times and his body burnt...yet he still survived...

Yeah he's tough and strong but I don't think he would have won against hitokiri Kenshin.

That's not true. Shishio Makoto was careful to face the current Kenshin. He wouldn't even risk it not to talk of fighting prime Kenshin. Prime Kenshin was a beast.

Kenshin's master would easily kill shishio. Anyway I don't think Shishio would defeat prime Kenshin. This current Kenshin is a pacifist that's why it seems like shishio is stronger.
