Militancy in the niger delta is worrisome, according to recent report that some of those that embraced amnesty by the F. G their i.d. cards were found at the militant camps is also worrisome, may be something is wrong somewhere in the amnesty deal or there is a political undertone. There has been this question during the amnesty proclamation period last year that 'what about the law abiding citizens of the niger delta, how will they benefit from government if militants are attended to by government? If the military are comanded into the creek of niger delta during a period that a niger deltan is the president of the federal republic of nigeria, am affraid that if militancy continues after Gej's tenure, other zones may do it worse than a niger deltan made it and it may turn to something else. What i think should be done is BRINGING UP A NEW POLICY that will include many niger deltans, investigation should be done on those that their i.d cards were found at the militant camps, there should be proper monitoring of those that embraced amnesty but if it was before it should be tightened.
