RomanceRe: Should A Lady Cook For The Guy She's Dating? by Ntananke: 7:20pm On Oct 31, 2014
if you are a girlfriend and you don't cook for your man, how do you expect to proceed to fiancee or even Wife? That's a sound decision if you are having a fling and not in a relationship.
PoliticsPeter Obi’s Damage Control Effort Fails By Mokwe by Ntananke(op): 6:08pm On Oct 28, 2014
Obi’s response to Bianca Ojukwu’s obliteration of his political future, published in the Sun newspaper of October 22nd, 2014 needs to be understood in all its ramifications. By his own account, he fulfilled all the promises made to Ojukwu. He must have laughed his head off when he made the statement. Did the promise include abandoning APGA Igbo agenda for a ministerial job? Did the promise include trying to create a wedge between the presidency and APGA? Did it also include absolute financial disrobing of Willie Obiano’s APGA administration?
He displayed some intelligence when he asserted:
“LOYALTY TO A CAUSE DOES NOT CHANGE WITH A CHANGE OF PLATFORM”
A very fine escape route, for starters, one cannot serve two masters at the same time. How does his quest for a ministerial appointment relate to greater Igbo agenda envisioned by Ojukwu which APGA represents?
He contended that he installed Willie Obiano. Installation ought not to be the right word. Peter Obi simply land-mined Willie Obiano and made him out to be the American equivalent of “A Fall Guy” with two goals in mind. To protect his dubious transactions and at the same time imprison Anambraians to still regard him as God’s gift to Anambra State. The fact Peter Obi knows how to navigate commodities and substances from one country to the other, including making any means of exchange clean and acceptable to the whole world does not mean that he is the smartest Igbo man.
Obi again did not help matters when he tried once more to reap from the brand called “OJUKWU” by contending the following:
“………………..Ojukwu had advised me to continue supporting Jonathan for reasons the late APGA leader made clear to him”
Total nonsense, there is absolutely no difference between the above self-interest motivated flying the kite statement and the one of: “This is my Last wish, vote for him.” A statement made by Ojukwu under tremendous challenge of age and health. Could he not have supported Jonathan through APGA platform? Is he not trying to make it appear as if APGA was against supporting Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 and hence his decision to decamp? I just do not know why Obi is relentlessly trying to blindfold the presidency into believing that he is the only supporter in the South East.
On the position of not responding to the issue of his decamping again, I agree with him because all the enabling facts are now before the Igbos and nobody wants to subscribe to dressed-up responses again. Did he betray the Igbos? Did he betray Odumegwu Ojukwu? Does he have a dual personality? Where does he fit into the stretch of integrity and honour? Igbos now know.
His arrogant description of other comments over the incident as frivolous with the exception of Bianca’s is very disrespectful to all the Igbos that subscribed to the commentators thought.
I am saying these to Peter, eyeball to eyeball, that the comments came from people that are comprehensively more educated than him, people that has pronounced surname in Igbo land before the geometric advent of the name “Obi”, people that could have been the governor of Anambra State if Odumegwu Ojukwu had opted for any of them, people that would not have maintained a dual personality with Ojukwu and people whose wealth history does not require a microscopic examination in terms of origin, people like the owner of Upper Class Hotel, where Peter Obi’s mother enjoyed credit supplies of liquor in the 70’s and early 80’s from the father, as the salary earned by Obi’s rank and file police officer father can do very little. Bonaventure Chokwebundu Mokwe, yes “Mokwe” of the 50s till date is one of such people. In the 50s, drugs and money laundering was not known in Nigeria. It was a period when people like my late father, Chief G. C. Mokwe acquired their wealth through arithmetical progression and not N10 – N2 = N3.5m.

PoliticsPeter Obi - Agulu Lake Project Said To Be Frustrated By Politics – By Mokwe. by Ntananke(op): 7:33pm On Oct 24, 2014
One Tony Okafor recently wrote an article on New Telegraph newspaper dated 19th of October 2014 at page 13, captioned: Agulu Lake: Tourist Potential frustrated by politics. Quoting the very Tony Okafor verbatim;
“THE STORY IN TOWN THEN WAS THAT THE NEW GOVERNOR HAD FROZEN ALL ACCOUNT S OF THE STATE TO ENABLE HIM STUDY THE STATE TREASURY HOLISTICALLY, WITH A VIEW TO PROPERLY SITUATING THEM. BUT UP TILL NOW, IT DOES NOT SEEM THAT THE NEW GOVERNMENT IS KEEN ON CONTINUING THE AGULU PROJECT”
He went on further again to say;
“THOUGH OBI HAD SAID THAT DURING HIS REIGN, THAT N2.2 BILLION WAS RESERVED FOR THE CONTINUATION OF WORK ON THE AGULU RESORT, SOME OBSERVERS HAS BLAMED HIM FOR LEAVING THE PROJECT TILL SOME MONTHS TO THE END OF HIS EIGHT YEAR TENURE AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE”
That’s just it. Act now and think later, trial and error governance that characterized Peter Obi’s administration is amplified by this development. When he freely gave out money to people and institutions that never needed the money in the first place, two or three months to the end of his tenure, did he not think about where Willie Obiano will get the money to complete the Agulu Lake Project? When he gave out millions of naira to individuals (some of whom I know personally) under the umbrella of settlement before his exit from power, where was the Agulu project in the equation of things?
When he took the posture of General Motors of America, by giving out cars and SUVs to people who never needed them before his exit from power, did it not occur to him that Willie Obiano will not print money to finance the Agulu Lake Project?
All the last minute reckless gift bonanza was purely to land-mine Willie Obiano financially and the result is gradually manifesting.
By the way, is Agulu Lake Project not one of the investments Anambra State supposedly has interest in, which nobody knows the percentage and the details of the capital contributions and the true identity of the core investors? Is it not possible that Willie Obiano may have observed some gymnastics that made him uncomfortable with the project? Tony Okafor quoted Peter Obi as saying that he reserved N2.2 billion for the project. Our governor’s silence with respect to setting the records straight to Anambraians is also not helping matters.
I wrote Governor Willie Obiano on the 24th of September 2014 and the caption of my letter was :
“A STICTCH IN TIME WILL SAVE NINE INTERMS OF EIGHT YEARS INCUMBENCY AS GOVERNOR OF ANAMBRA STATE UNDER APGA”
In the very letter, I referred to a statement credited to Igwe Alex Nwokedi, Traditional Ruler of Achalla Town, in an interview by Vanguard Newspaper dated 21st day of September 2014 at page 35 titled; COUNSEL FROM THE PALACE. He was asked by the interviewer whether Willie Obiano was performing and he responded “AS I TOLD YOU, I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR COMPLAINTS. HE IS THE GOVERNOR AND THE FORMER GOVERNOR SAID HE LEFT BILLIONS ON THE COFFERS OF THE STATE.”
It is now coming up gradually. Removing his head from the decking by addressing Anambraians on the state of the accounts handed over to him in addition to the forensic details of all those investments said to have been made on our behalf has become imperative.
It is still not late before our party, APGA, is caught napping. Let him open up. Our party must understand that the masses acceptance of a government embarked revenue drive that will come from their pocket is a function of the degree to which reasons that gave rise to it are seen to be beyond the help of the government of the day. Peter Obi’s gymnastic account to Willie Obiano is more than enough reason but they need the details from the horse’s mouth.

PoliticsRe: Breaking! Economic Activities Crippled In Anambra As Fuel Price Rise To ¥250 by Ntananke: 8:28pm On Oct 23, 2014
Please State the facts. Black market in Anambra State is N130, which is just N10 higher from the normal price. And I doubt the fuel scarcity has anything to with the political staus quo in Anambra state. Please let's state the fact and stop deceiving each other.
PoliticsPeter Obi - A Liability Or An Asset To Jonathan's 2015 Project? by Ntananke(op): 7:37am On Oct 23, 2014
Bianca Ojukwu summary execution of Peter Obi's Political profile at Netherlands in her daily Sun Newspaper interview of 20th October 2014 has given rise to a likely avalanche of public humiliations that will trail Peter Obi in any Igbo people's function. It is now left for the handlers of Jonathan 2015 project to weigh the new development in all its ramifications and strategically decide whether to commence a slow but steady disengagement from the brand called Mr Peter Obi. Hear Bianca Ojukwu on the marble;

'' MILLIONS OF NDIGBO, WHO HELD OJUKWU IN GREAT REVERENCE, SUBSCRIBE TO HIS PHILOSOPHY AND WOULD NOT BE KINDLY DISPOSED TO A MAN WHO IS WILLING TO SACRIFICE THE INTEREST OF HIS PEOPLE OVER MOMENTARY AND FLEETING GAINS'' BIANCA OJUKWU

She went further again to say:
''IT WILL BE A GRAVE MISTAKE FOR HIM TO BELEIVE THAT THE PEOPLE OF ANAMBRA STATE HAVE A SHORT MEMORY, THEY MAY NOT BE DISPOSED TO WELCOME HIM WITH OPEN ARMS'' BIANCA OJUKWU

The vote of no confidence was total when she said:

''HE HAS DASHED THE HOPES OF MANY AND REDUCED HIS PRESTIGE TO THE LEVEL OF ANY OTHER ''FOOD IS READY'' POLITICIAN'' BIANCA OJUKWU

''TO OJUKWU, PETER OBI WAS A COMBINATION OF THE OLD TESTAMENT JOSHUA AND THE NEW TESTAMENT SIMON PETER'' BIANCA OJUKWU

The interview is a first-hand account of a person that witnessed every bit of Peter Obi's dual personality relationship with the late husband, Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu. It is not an intellectual guess work by Bonaventure Mokwe. It is the hard fact, the final truth and the final judgment of Peter Obi's political adventure. Bianca Ojukwu rightly concluded as follows:

'' THE PEOPLE OF ANAMBRA WILL INVARIABLY FEEL THAT HE USED THEM TO FULFIL HIS AMBITION ONLY TO DUMP THEM WHEN HE FELT THE NEED TO MOVE ON'' BIANCA OJUKWU

It will be politically suicidal for Peter Obi to be the face of Goodluck Jonathan's campaign effort in the South East. It does not take the best of brains to figure that out. All of Bianca's responses where essentially a lamentation of a betrayed widow of an Igbo great. It is bound to touch the hearts of the Igbos negatively towards Peter Obi and everything he stands for.
We that are part of Jonathan's 2015 project have our reasons for crying out against Peter Obi's inherent political risk.

Let it be understood very clearly that, we the Igbos and APGA in particular that has collectively endorsed Goodluck Jonathan for 2015 election cannot also afford a failed Jonathan election because of the resultant collective consequences it will entail in the South East. The backlash will be catastrophic. Failing is not an option and if it means backstage for Peter Obi, then, that will be the case. The Ebola-like treatment which Bianca Ojukwu dished out to Mr Peter Obi has spread all over Igbo land. Jonathan 2015 project can do without the political virus.

PoliticsPeter Obi And Upper Class Hotel Demolition The Untold Story By Chief Mokwe by Ntananke(op): 7:17am On Oct 18, 2014
Prior to my arrest and instant demolition of my hotel on the 1st day of August 2013, I was involved in a motor park dispute with Onitsha natives. The person that lodged in room 102 of Upper Class hotel and planted two human skulls/ two rusted A.K 47 riffles, all in one bag in the wardrobe gave his name as John Obi but it turned out to be one OLISA EGBUCHIEM, a street boy from Umudei village Onitsha. Within the period, he built a house with the money he was paid and when asked the source of money, he claimed to have won lotto.

Three incidents played out in the background that complicated my situation. One was that a bank property scouter in the person of R.T Martins approached me for my property on behalf of Fidelity Bank and I refused. The second was that my half-brother; Chief Gregory Mokwe that inherited the next property to my hotel hosted Chekwas Okorie's UPP and blocked a section of old market road Onitsha during governorship election period. Chief Gregory Mokwe was an old political partner of Peter Obi under Chekwas Okorie's APGA before they parted ways. Thirdly, Peter Obi, for some reason only he knows, does the bidding of Onitsha natives all the time he was the governor. These three factors hold the key on why Peter Obi demolished my hotel before I even made a statement at Awkuzu SARS. Matters were not helped also by the fact that the debris of my hotel demolition was cleared within 24 hours of its demolition while the debris of every other demolition done by Peter Obi are still intact at their respective locations. The instant debris clearance is simply for acquisition and development.

At Awkuzu SARS, the first team investigating the case saw the whole thing as a set-up. James Nwafor the O/C promptly re-assigned the case and torture commenced right away. By this time, Peter Obi has demolished the hotel and that left the police with no option but to vindicate and protect Peter Obi from his self-inflicted liability. This singular reason was also why the arrest of the set-up organizers was a non-issue.

I was taken to the back of an open hall and James Nwafor ordered me to take of my trousers. I was handcuffed to a weightlifting contraption next to the wall. My trousers were then wrapped around my neck followed with a green rope and they started pulling from both ends and the day became over for me. My thumbprint was then inserted in an already prepared statement.

I woke up to find myself in cell 5 codenamed ''Condemned''. Till date I cannot turn my neck fully without body support. I am a masters degree holder from the University of Alberta Canada, thumb printing as signature does not quite fit the profile.

Faced with no complainant with weeks gone in detention and pressure mounting by my people and the general public, one individual called ''Obodo G'', the legal assistant to Mr Peter Obi talked to me over the phone, in the mode of signing an undertaking against claims if released. That was a no.

This was followed by James Nwafor, the O/C telling my wife to convince me on the very undertaking and again that was a no from me.

My refusal landed us in prison, charged with the murder of one Nnalue Okafor and that was on the 17th of October, 2013. I and my P.H.D student manager brainstormed and figured that finding out the identity of the very Nnalue Okafor holds the key to our freedom, and we got busy at the prison, mixing and relating with every character at the place until we met the one called ''DREAD''. Everybody fears the character but fear has never been part of my person. We became friends and it paid off.

On one of the evenings, we came out and saw ''DREAD'' sitting next to another rugged looking face. His greeting of us relaxed his friend and we sat down next to them. In a frenzy mode of conversation, I asked ''DREAD'' if he knows one Nnalue Okafor. His friend stopped talking instantly and his face became more rugged and he left. We figured that he knows the name by his reaction and we started working on ''DREAD'' in terms of us being a victim of the system also and it paid off.

The next day, the case against us collapsed. The young man nicknamed ''BAD MEAT'' admitted being in the same gang as Nnalue Okafor. He gave us the name of the mother, the father, the brother and the sister, their town and the village and the description at how to get to their house. He made us to understand that Nnalue Okafor was the head of MASSOB barrack at Silas works road Fegge Onitsha and that he was arrested by the police on the 29th day of April 2013 and has never been seen since then, it was during the period of Anambra state Governorship election when Peter Obi split MASSOB. IGBO YOUTH emerged after the organization refused to support him, and that Nnalue Okafor, with an immense strength of heart headed the MASSOB section of their Silas works barrack that refused to support Peter Obi.

Armed with all the information, I contacted my staff and gave them all the details and instructed them to take a tape recorder and head to the address of Nnalue Okafor's mother at Ifite Ogwari for confirmation. Days after, they came back positive. Bail was subsequently granted to us on the 4th of Nov. 2013.

When the PA to Peter Obi got the wind of our release, he prevailed upon me through my cousin Francis Mokwe to lie low that I will be compensated after the election. It never happened.

All the efforts to make Peter Obi to sort out the matter failed and hence the present situation of things.

When it became public knowledge via the media that the police are responsible for whatever happened to Nnalue Okafor, the then attorney General under Peter Obi sent the case file back to Awkuzu SARS for the mess to be sorted out.

Matters became more complicated when the human right community provided a lawyer to Nnalue Okafor's mother and an action was brought against the police to provide Nnalue Okafor. Suffice to say that the case is dead. Am a free man. Any subsequent evidence manufacturing will suffer similar fate.

My hotel demolition gave rise to Seventeen (17) lawsuits with Sixteen against the state Government and the police while one is in the personal capacity of Peter Obi.

Immunity never protected him against an unlawful act.

I am very much aware that due to environmental factors confronting high court judges, cases against state government starts properly at Appeal court level. I am very much prepared all the way to the Supreme Court for each and every one of the suits.

PoliticsPeter Obi - Beyond The Visit To Odumegwu Ojukwu's Grave : By Mokwe by Ntananke(op): 8:10am On Oct 17, 2014
The collective fooling of the Ibos by Peter Obi has a larger implication to us as a people which we must address beyond the emotional visit to the grave of Odumegwu Ojukwu on the 14th of October 2014. The only ''WISE MAN'' persona which he regularly wears while the rest of the Ibos are ''MUGUS'' in local parlance needs to be dismantled. Our honour as a people is at stake if we relapse and not make Peter Obi a political outcast in the whole of south east as a warning to future Peter Obis.

Major Emmanuel Ifeajuna betrayed the Ibos militarily and equally paid the price militarily. Peter Obi's own is political and therefore he must pay politically. He must not be allowed to gain any political milage from his betrayal. It ought and should be the reeligeous duty of every Ibo man if we value our honour. Reacting to Ibo youth visit to the grave of Odumegwu Ojukwu, the media aid of Peter Obi Mr Valentine Obienyem had this to say:

'' The demonstrations.................................is a welcome development, saying more of such demonstrations are welcome for the lessons inherent on them'' Sun newspaper 15/10/2014 page 12.

That was nothing short of mocking the Ibos and careless in every sense of it. It was precisely what major Emmanuel Ifeajuna said when he was tied to the stake during the Nigerian Biafran civil war. His response was a wholehearted acceptance of the resultant Peter Obi's irrelevance in Ibo land and Anambra State in Particular. That is very good.

Let me emphasize it more, the Ibos represented by Ohaneze and Anambra State under APGA government has long adopted Goodluck Jonathan for 2015 election. We cannot as a consequence of the failed attempt by Peter Obi to manipulate the presidency into believing that he is the only supporter of Goodluck Jonathan in the south east and not defend the honour of our race.

We must now rally behind Willy Obiano and make him live up to his Ibo chieftaincy title '' EBEKUEDIKE'' and obliterate Peter Obi's prudency claim as the integrity aspect is all but gone. It is not a matter of crying on a grave. Willy Obiano our leader must now remove his head from the decking to enable us disrobe Peter Obi comprehensively. It has to start from making the handover account public and publication of his eight year account position.

Who are the core investors in all these investments said to have been made on behalf of Anambra state? What percentage belongs to us. How where the respective capital contributions made? The land where SAB miller brewery is located was bought from G.M.O family for a few millions short of half a billion naira.
Was it paid with Anambra state fund or the shady core investor's fund and how was the payment effected?

The ABS location at G.R.A Onitsha undergoing hotel and shopping mall development under PPP arrangement between Anambra state and invisible core investor, can we know the details?
If all of the above details are made public to Anambrarians and forensic investigation of the details comes out clean, I will proclaim Peter Obi the saint of all saints. For now, we should endeavour to make sure he will never fool the Ibos again by letting him count on only his vote in every which way.

PoliticsPeter Obi Is A Political “major Emmanuel Ifeajuna” To The Ibo Race by Ntananke(op): 2:54pm On Oct 13, 2014
I was seven (7) years old when the Nigerian Civil War ended in 1970 but I can recollect a particular song we were taught in the primary school then. It goes like this;
“OHOO NWANNEM, MU NA NWANNEM JERE OGU, AKPIRI EGO IFEAJUNA REE NWANNEYA, OHOO NWANNEM, MU NA NWANNEM JERE OGU NWANNE PUTA N’UZO REE NWANNEYA”
Biafran War veterans later confirmed the song to be a regular during their morning drills. The song essentially is a lamentation over Major Emmanuel Ifeajuna’s sabotage of Odumegwu Ojukwu led Biafran Army. His treachery led to astronomical number of Ibo deaths. Peter Obi has betrayed the Ibos in pretty much the same fashion. For those born after the civil war, a father or an uncle can relay the event. Major Emmanuel Ifeajuna’s was a native of Umudei Village, Onitsha.
Peter Obi formally joined PDP on the 8th day of October, 2014 after years of riding on the ship called APGA, powered by the unconditional support of the Ibos as a consequence of their undiluted belief in the Late Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu. He (Peter Obi) was the adopted and biological son of Odumegwu Ojukwu. Promises and assurances were rampant all geared towards APGA as the Ibo mouth-piece. Peter Obi, APGA and the Ibos were triplets.
If Mr. Peter Obi can still operate with the best of conscience after demolishing my hotel and obliterating my personality for self-interest or error of judgement if he says so, and never bothered about the resultant economic impact on my family and dependants till date, it basically means that he has no conscience.
By jumping ship, Peter Obi chooses to be a man of vain ambition and not a god as he deceived Anambrarians. I add, to the extent he can renegade on the promises and son-ship to both Ojukwu and the people of Ibo race through APGA platform, to that extent he is not a man of integrity talk less of honour. A man, who cannot be trusted in that regard, cannot be trusted in all regards.
The exploitation and abuse of Ibo peoples trust became complete and total when Peter obi collectively intoxicated the Ibo population with his “HERO” brand of beer, with Biafran logo as label, rooted on Odumegwu Ojukwu being our hero. Consumption of the beer became a religion for the Ibos. Where then does his sainthood persona fit into his present treacherous act? Sainthood project which he practically financed with all the money meant for Obiano’s administration two (2) months before his exit from power.
It was evident from the photo session of his decamping to PDP that, every single Anambra State PDP heavy weight was not present. Charity ought to have started from the home front. On the word “integrity” used repeatedly by the speakers at the event, it was out of place abinitio. It was an educated mockery of the host.
From the above premises, Peter Obi of bloated prudent spending and near perfect governorship is no less a bundle of low integrity like all average politicians. The presidency ought to grasp what played out at Anambra State as it relates to Peter Obi’s defection to PDP which he made people to believe that it was to enable him support Goodluck Jonathan fully in 2015. That is not the truth. Abinitio, the Ibos under Ohaneze including APGA led by a straight forward personality in the person of Willie Obiano has comprehensively adopted Goodluck Jonathan for 2015 election.
The collective support of the Ibos and APGA in particular for President Goodluck Jonathan must not be appropriated by a singular individual called Peter Obi. The Ibos in general are presently nursing their emotional dislocation stemming from Peter Obi’s treachery, but we have to move on. He is now a political mortuary as far as the Ibos are concerned.
Willie Obiano hold the final key that will put paid on Peter Obi’s prudency and integrity claim by publishing Anambra State accounting position for eight (cool years of his tenure including the specifics of the investments said to have been made on our behalf.
On the same breath, I have also commenced the process of forming an association of pronounced victims of Obi’s abuse of power via www.ntanankefestivalumuchu.com . Victims should send details and contact information to this site via our email ntanankefestivalumuchu@gmail.com . abuses that are clearly unlawful will be taken up by my team of lawyers in his personal capacity as his immunity then, never extended to unlawful acts.
Signed,
