Wait for almost two weeks hopefully the embassy will call you. If not, then get in contact with me so you can fly with ok-to- board (this allows you travel to Cyprus).

@Mr. Wip, are there no shortcomings in regards to the ok-to-board? Or challenges @ Either/Both the Nigeria immigration and the Port of Entry in NC?

No need to get worried. He can inform his university that embassy claimed his name is not on their list so they can resend. Most times the university do send the names however, the embassy usually don’t update their list instantly so they give such to applicants and if the names are received in many cases (73%) they do contact the applicants to resubmit their passports.

@Wip, Good evening, So what happens to the remaining 27% Chance of not being contacted by the Embassy to resubmit passports? Any Remedy?

Actually, you need to be fully prepared coming to Cyprus.
You can get jobs but you need to be a hustler.
Jobs like construction work, waiter, car washer, and other menial ones abound.
You can pay your bills from them if you get one
