To my own understanding both parties are guilty of negligence and prodeegee showed incompetence on his side though as a professional in the business, to the OP I will start by saying if you own a dog � that dog is family � take it or leave it, before boarding your dog with any body,you are suppose to check out for certain requirements from the person rendering the boarding services (1) You have to visit the place of boarding first or you send someone to do the needful.while on your visit these are what you should be looking out for (1)feeding pattern (2) types of food given to dogs there (3)the environment if its going to be conducive for your dog to stay there (4)if they have access to medical treatment in case of emergency etc. Before you handover your dog to any person rendering a dog boarding services.let take for example if you are to take your child to a boarding school or a day care . I believe those things I listed are one the things you will look out for before you agree to take your child there. That's why I said your dog is FAMILY .OP in case of next time #Prodeegee as a professional there are certain routine and documentation required of you before boarding people dogs in case of next time (1)You don't do pick up for a first time customer (hell no) its a sign of desperacy.(2)before boarding customers dogs there should be proper documentation incase of in case of any eventualities. Things to check out for during documentation (1)the dog health status (2)the dog weight (3)kind of food the dog eat(4)female dogs check for pregnancy signs and check the teat's and take note of the numbers of teat's found(5)male check the scrotum if the balls are complete or not (6) check for any abrasion,scare's n marks and indicates if there is any . Who does that? I expect you as a professional to handle this case with professionalism and maturity when it happened this way find a reasonable solution own up and talk the Op I believe you guys will work something out and stop all this blaming games take full responsibility of ur mistake and learn from it, I know some people are in support of u like its the Op fault guy with all due respect you are at foult (1)place of death unknown (2)cause of death (3) time of death (4)prove of death not available .
