Thanks I got it. God bless you |
Elxandre, I love your sense of humour . It is quite commendable that you haven't lost that despite your challenges. You are in God's plan and things can only get better. How do I know this? I have gone through worse in the past and looking back now, I really thank God for that period of my life although it didnt make sense to me then. |

Brown rice (or "hulled rice" or partly milled rice, is a kind of whole, natural grain. It has a mild nutty flavor, is chewier and more nutritious than white rice. The reason brown rice has many more nutrients than regular white rice is due to the fact that brown rice has only the outer layer, called the hull, removed while white rice has been refined for convenience with several layers (including nutrients), removed. Some vitamins and minerals are added back to white rice after refinement, but One mineral not added back into white rice is magnesium; one cup (195 g) of cooked long grain brown rice contains 84 mg of magnesium while one cup of white rice contains 19 mg (The difference is SO CLEAR).Next time you start feeling sluggish, reach for brown rice as a source of energy. Brown rice has more than 80% of your daily value of manganese, which helps to synthesize fatty acids, keeping your nervous system in working order. The fiber in brown rice produces the best health benefit of all; fat burning! In addition to requiring more of your body to break it down, the fiber in brown rice helps satisfy your appetite and therefore decreasing your chances of overeating. That is the equation for fat loss; eat less and burn more! The fiber and selenium found in brown rice can also reduce your risk of many types of cancer, which I’d say is a health benefit we could all use. Finally, oils found in brown rice can help lower cholesterol. One cup of brown rice has just 2 grams of fat, including omegas-3 and 6 fatty acids. Brown rice also has no cholesterol and just 10mg of sodium so you can be sure you’re getting nothing but nutrients with every spoonful. Your fat burning will get a boost thanks to the 14% of fiber you’ll get; and you can start to see why people are talking about brown rice nutrition facts! Brown rice is available in 1,2 and 5kg packs at NUTRIENT RICH Foods and Beverages Located in Lagos and Ibadan. Call:07062160601 |
Did you know that of all plant foods consumed in the world, Soybean is richest in food value? Plant sources of proteins except for soybean are considered lower quality or incomplete proteins because they are low in, or missing one or more of the essential amino acids. Soybean is the only plant protein source that contains all essential amino acids. It is rich in calcium, iron, phosphorous and most of the vitamins. Our diets in Nigeria consist of foods that are mostly carbohydrate based. Protein supplementation of our daily diet is necessary because of the low protein content and unbalanced essential amino acid composition of these foods. These foods do not supply adequate protein for satisfactory growth of infants and children, nor for the bodily maintenance of adults. We eat rice, yam, amala, pounded yam, semo, eba, pap, etc. Some of us don’t eat beans, moi-moi and other proteinous foods as frequently as we eat these starchy foods. Incorporating soy protein in our daily diet does not necessarily mean we have to change our eating habits. We can still eat all these foods, but in their protein-enriched form. WHY SOYFLOUR? It has to be soybean flour because soybean plays a vital role in balancing the protein deficiency of our diet. The protein content of soybean is about 2 times of other legumes, 4 times of wheat, 6 times of rice grain and 4 times of milk. It has 3% lecithine, which is helpful for brain development. The fat from the soybean is heart friendly because it is unsaturated unlike saturated fats from animal origin. Although it delivers protein just like egg, it has added advantage as continuous consumption of eggs increases our cholesterol level. Soy is also rich in phytochemicals like isoflavones, saponins, and sterols that offer many health benefits. The two primary isoflavones found in soybeans (daidzein and genistein) have been found to reduce the risk of a number of cancers, including those of the breast, lung, colon, rectum, stomach, and prostate. It also reduces the frequency and intensity of hot flashes in menopausal women. The usefulness of soybean flour in developing high protein foods in order to meet the protein needs of children and adults is now well recognized and several protein-enriched foods can be developed from soybean flour. However, the major challenge lies in the fact that processing the soybean seeds into flour could be laborious and also, the seeds have to be properly processed to ensure elimination of the inherent anti-nutritional factors. Nutrient rich Soy Flour is the product that delivers all the nutritional and health benefits of soybean flour. It is produced under hygienic conditions and has no beany flavour or taste. If you are on a low-carbohydrate diet, this product is ideal for you. With protein content of 45%, its affordability makes it your ideal choice in your protein-enriched diet. It can be added to wheat flour in baked products like bread, cake, doughnut, meat-pie, biscuits, etc. You can also add it to your baby’s weaning food. It is available in 1kg, 2kg, 5kg and 10kg sizes.
