Politics › Re: Olympics ‘Bicycle’ Comment Shows Peter Obi Is NOT Presidential Material by Oakenshield: 6:18pm On Aug 13, 2024 |
Kemetian: The Nigerian cyclist was called in at the last minute to contest a road cycling race, after an Egyptian cyclist was disqualified.
Team Nigeria contested only in the track cycling races, and therefore only went to Paris with track-purpose bicycles.
The road race bicycles cost up to $40,000 each, and of course were not required by Team Nigeria.
So when the Nigerian girl was asked to do the road race at short notice, she borrowed a road race bicycle from the German team, which was there for track and road racing events.
SOMEHOW, THIS INCIDENT turned into a social media STORM in which the Nigerian government was abused and insulted by the usual suspects - Emergency Nigerians - for the ‘’embarrassment of having to borrow a common bicycle” from other countries, which showed the depth of incompetence and corruption of the government.
SO-CALLED ‘PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE’ PETER OBI, whom you would expect, as a presidential material, to INVESTIGATE the incident prior to issuing public statements on it, simply CONSUMED the social media propaganda of his fellow Emergency Nigerians, and LAMBASTED the government publicly for “borrowing a bicycle” at the Olympics, condemning their “rascality”, “corruption”, and “incompetence”.
This shows that PETER OBI lacks the intelligence, judgement, discipline, and composure to be the PRESIDENT of the biggest and most powerful black nation on Earth.
He must not be elected to such an important high office office.
It’s far too risky.
Anyone can come into his office and tell him anything, and he’ll run with it. so must be wait before last minutes to join? Other serious countries put their athletes to prepare Incase of disqualifications which is sure to happen so Nigeria has never prepared for anything. So why didn't the country decline and let another country take it's spot rather than beg another country for such. O.o leave Peter obi because him dn achieve everything your generation crave for yet never see. Incase you don't know the same bigwigs in APC and PDP chill with obi far from cameras and let their boys shout aimlessly at night |

Julius Berger's quality is just basic, nothing special. CCECC will match their quality and even exceed it for a lower price. everything is special because they have maintained standard and quality. They are known for that that's why only people or government with money calls them. |

CCECC might do it for half the cost... U are wrong JB works according to exchange rate. Ccecc will get it because of their usual kickbacks. Umahi construction company will win the contract as usual |

Julius Berger charge according to dollar rates and they are known not to give any kick backs. That's why most projects done by then are from federal government. They rarely work with states because of kickbacks and inflation. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Pictures Of The Children Who Were Killed In The Attack By Hezbollah Hours Ago. by Oakenshield: 1:52pm On Jul 28, 2024 |
Botragelad: Let me set the record straight. Israel typically warns civilians of impending strikes by distributing leaflets and designating safe zones. The targeted location was a known terrorist hideout.
The real question is, why does Hamas use children as human shields for their nefarious activities? Why do they launch rockets from schools? I expect rational individuals to think critically. Israel's strike targeted Hamas, but they cynically exploit children for propaganda. It was a legitimate military target!
Now, applying the same logic to Hezbollah's strike: did they issue warnings to Israel before attacking? How can a soccer field be considered a military target? Were there any IDF soldiers present? If you're going to target someone, target the soldiers, right? At least that's your greatest fear! Israel could have randomly targeted Lebanese civilians, but instead, they precision-target terrorists. Why doesn't Hezbollah do the same? It's clear that Israel is the only side following the rules, while terrorists deliberately target civilians. Wait for Israel's response. 🇮🇱 they quickly lied that Israel defense system did it. I trust Israel for revenge |
