All most preferred list for both first and second choice is with them because they have retrieved the names from jamb.the major work for them is more preferred list because they are d one that will do that which thay have started even almost through,so that by d time all most preferred list will come out,it will b easier for them to release the more preferred list.for u to believe,those that were admitted in ur department for first choice most preferred,check their post utme result,u will find out that many of them scored lower that ur score,even some did not participate in the post utme ,which prove that they were offered automatic admission by jamb into laspotech due to the fact that they deliberately choose polytechnic which is laspotech as their most preferred.such happen in other polytechnics like ilaro.check their first list u will see that it is full of first choice most preferred.

yes,d skul compile more preferred list while most preferred list for first and second choice is through jamb i.e those that intentionally choose laspotech where university suppose to b.they have to admit them first before those that choose them more preferred.second choice for most preferred will come out before more preferred.

jude2011: @obabila . I was given admission. So i went to isolo campus to pay my acceptance fee but i was told by a guy in firstbank that they have not started paying the fee. Pls has anyone paid the acceptance fee? If yes, how much is it and how do i go about also when is the deadline. Pls i need the info to enable me to pay on time

It is quite unfortunate that many of those i helped to check their admission status wen d first choice most prefered list came out left dis thread without given other people procedures they took wen they paid for their acceptance fee. Anyway no lele.d acceptance fee is 10 000 but bank will collect bank charge and activation fee let say everytin is 12 100.

I mean, on d screening list. Someone said if u submit early, it's possible to be on d 1st screening list, with a lower credit.

Lower credit is okay for HND whether u submit early or late.but if u did ur ND in other polytechnic,d admission can b 50/50.i knw of some pple whether laspotech like it or not,there name will b on d list and most of them came out with lower.i can even mention their names before the list is released.AWON ELEYI LENU PA.but all na God o.

Does qualification (Lower credit, upper credit) determine the 1st batch, 2nd batch and 3rd batch. Or it depends on how early d registration was done to determine if one's name would be on the first list

I will say qualification matters,it is one of the criterials used.

Dis is not applicable for more prefered ND till further notice,but HND applicants can apply it to knw if they qualify for screening or not,carefully look at what it will display at d extreme right of d screen after u clicked on submit.

Not everybody will be qualified for d screening.to check if u are qualified for d screening before they release d screening list,log on to www.laspotech.net,u will click on 2013/2014 admission,it will display a page where u are to click 'online admission'.then it will take u to another page where u will see ,'if u are new,click here,if u had started before click here.u will click on if u had started before because u have completed and submitted d form online.below it ,u will see a tab where u are to input ur application number ,or d email u used to register when u newly obtain d form.thereafter,u will click on submit.

up to now, no response from d school. hv u finally confirmed it?

Pls b a little bit patient,at least by now u pple have to knw whether u are qualified for screening or not? It is not everybody that will b screened.what is next now is for d skul to release it officially and d date.at least i have check for more than 7 applicants in which 5 of them are qualified for d screening.let us see what will happen before friday.

Most preferred simply means,applicants that deliberately choose laspotech where they supposed to choose university.while more preferred are the applicants that choose laspotech where polytechnic suppose to be.

C. General Entry Requirements:
National Diploma (ND) Programmes

SSCE or WASCE or GCE ‘O' Level or NECO or NABTEB with at least 5 Credits obtained at not more than 2 sittings, which must include English Language, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects related to the programme of study.
B. Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes

Candidates are required to satisfy SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB entry requirements for the corresponding National Diploma programme. Candidates are required to have completed a relevant National Diploma Programme at not below LOWER CREDIT classification.
3. Candidates are required to have at least one year post- ND industrial work experience.
D. Mature Candidates:

Candidates with lower qualifications than the ones stated above but with at least three (3) relevant Credits and two (2) Passes could be considered for admission, provided such candidates are not below the age of 40 years and have a minimum of 15 years work experience at a SUPERVISORY LEVEL
E. Important Notice

Candidates applying for HND programmes are expected to submit copies of the following:

ND Letter of Completion or Certificate
Birth Certificate
Industrial attachment discharge letter to the Principal Assistant Registrar(SPTS), Part Time Programmes, Isolo Campus

Purchase N7,500 e-Tranzact PIN(Exclusive of Bank charges) from ANY Bank to complete the application form on-line;

Click on the "2013/2014 Admission Applications" link at the left corner.
Click "Complete your application or Want to print out application "
Fill the application form provided. Ensure that you provide accurate data at all times. In addition to your personal information, you will be required to provide your WAEC/GCE/NECO result as well as previous educational history.
Ensure you print out your Application form, fee payment receipt and keep them safely.
You will be required to upload a colour passport photograph of NOT MORE THAN 20kb in size.
Print your completed application form before submission. You will be required to present this at a later date, so keep it safely.
Successful candidates must adhere strictly to the registration procedure as highlighted on the Polytechnic website.
The Institution is non-residential. Students will therefore be required to make their own arrangements for accommodation and transportation.
