PoliticsRe: House Of Reps Member, Salman Idris Defects From ADC To APC by Obakoolex(m): 6:11pm On Jul 23, 2024
raskymonojendor:
Yup. You see what's happening in Edo too. That's why I japa-ed in 2008..I saw the future of Nigerian politics. When I even came home in 2014 or so, I was lucky to come during GEJ's campaign season. I followed a relative close to the corridors of power to a campaign event GEJ came for in Lagos. Myself and the relative went back home with $4,000. I realised that Nigeria will never change, so I sped up application of my foreign passport.

PDP = APC = LP = NNPP = ADC are all the same.
Sowore's party is untested, but I won't be suprised if he becomes corrupt immediately he gets power too.

Summary, if you have the chance, you may have to japa while you can. Nigeria's politics is more interesting to follow from abroad than from inside Nigeria if you are not one of the key players.
How I wish I heard this advise many years ago undecided
Tho I have nothing to do with politicians but my business is really being affected by depreciated Naira

Foreign AffairsRe: Sonya Massey: White Illinois Cop Shot Unarmed Black Woman In Face by Obakoolex(m): 10:18am On Jul 23, 2024

OP stop being bias with your news writing. When a police is on scene, one is authorized to raise their hands or stand still without holding anything. She carrying a pot of hot boiling water can definitely be perceived as a weapon & attempt to attack the officer with it. He saw her as a threat, plus she told him: "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus." Definitely, she sounded unstable & a threat to him. Fact, racism is real, but at the same time, doing what is right at the right time is also very important.
First sane analysis of the video. Most people here don't even watch the video before commenting, the woman acted so weird and that made the officer to act than to be sorry he didn't.
If the woman was white, the same scenario would play the same.
Foreign AffairsRe: Sonya Massey: White Illinois Cop Shot Unarmed Black Woman In Face by Obakoolex(m):
Op should try not to be biased in his write up, even lied about the 3 shots!

The woman acted so weird and that made the officer to act than to be sorry he didn't.
If the woman was white, the same scenario would play the same.

The woman was saying "in Jesus name" in the manner of "Allah uh Akbar" and acting so unstable not to even remember her last name, how would the officer know she was sick.
