and scored 150 and above in the appropriate subjects combination are
eligible for Post-UTME Screening.
3. ONE-YEAR PRE-NATIONAL DIPLOMA (PRE-ND SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY)
PROGRAMME IN:

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
(a) HND: National Diploma (ND) in the relevant fields from recognized
Polytechnics with at least Lower Credit plus at least five(5) credits in
GCE O’Level, SSCE or its equivalent in relevant subjects including
Mathematics and English Language, and a minimum of one year post
working experience of industrial attachment.
(b) Pre-ND: At least five (5) credits in the GCE O’ Level, SSCE, NECO,
or its equivalent in the relevant subject including Mathematics and
English Language. Candidates will be required to sit and pass the
Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The programme is
strictly for applicants from Educationally Less Developed State i.e.
Adamawa, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Ebonyi,
Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katshina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara,
Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Application forms are obtainable on the purchase of the Registration PIN
(Personal Identification Number) on e-transact platform at a nonrefundable
fee of Four Thousand Naira (N4,000.00) only and Three
Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N3,500.00) only for HND and Pre-ND
programmes respectively; and Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only
(excluding bank charges) for Post UTME screening in respect of ND
programmes payable at the United Bank for Africa Plc, Ecobank Plc Zenith
Bank Plc and other commercial banks nationwide.
Candidates are to then register with the PIN on the website:
www.fedpolynas.edu.ng and to print out their respective slips containing
dates and times scheduled for screening.
B) IJMB AND REMEDIAL PROGRAMMES
1. IJMB PROGRAMME:
The Interim Joint Matriculation Board programme is a two-year
Advance Level programme in Arts, Social Sciences and Sciences, which
leads successful candidates to secure admission at 200 level in
University through JAMB’s Direct Entry procedure. The subject
