OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA.

Greetings His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari GCFR,

Congratulations for your re-election in the just concluded 2019 Presidential elections, your victory is a reflection of the will and mind of the people in support of your drive to advance Nigeria to #NextLevel.

Your Excellency, I wirte to inform you the development in our aviation sector, as a concerned and responsible citizen of our great nation.

The recent crashing of Boeing 737 800-Max aircraft in Ethiopia which killed all the 149 passengers onboard and 8 crew members is a big loss to our great nation and Africa at large.

Last year October, the same Boeing 737 800-Max aircraft owned by Lion Air crashed at Java sea in Indonesia and killed 189 passengers onboard and all the crew members.

The Ethiopian Airlines recent crashing is a big loss to Nigeria, because of our two great Scholars that died in the aircraft.

Countries like China, South Korea, Ethiopia and the Cayman Island that recently acquired the B-737-800Max grounded operations of the aircraft model following the crash of an Ethiopian Airlines, which killed all 157 persons onboard, and same with Lion Air that killed over 189 persons onboard the aircraft.

Your Excellency, Our indigenous leading aviation company 'Air Peace', yesterday (11/03/2019) issued a press statement that "Our Deal With Boeing 'Still On", meaning that they don't have plan to discontinue the move to acquire 10 (ten) Boeing 737 800-Max aircrafts from the manufacturers, despite the recent notable killings of human beings as a result of the aircraft inefficiency.

Your Excellency, I humbly appeal that you should use your office to call the Air Peace operators to suspend their contract with the Boeing Manufacturers, and also call for grounding of all Boeing 737 8-Max in our aviation industries pending when the Boeing Manufactures would have corrected the software issues that affects the smooth movement of the aircraft on air and leads to crashing.
