Nigerian Army Has Buhari’s Academic Records
The director of public relations of the Nigerian Army, Brigadier Olaleye Lajide, has dismissed reports in the Nigerian media claiming that the army could not find academic records of General Muhammadu Buhari (ret.), the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Brigadier Lajide described the reports as false.
The military spokesman made the disclosure while responding to a text message from SaharaReporters seeking clarification about the status of Mr. Buhari’s records. Brigadier Lajide affirmed that the Nigerian Army is in possession of all records of serving, retired and deceased officers since its inception. He added, however, that all military officers are supposed to keep original copies of their certificates.

According to him, in the event where an officer loses his or her original copy of records, the concerned officer must officially apply for copies from the army. He stated that the army responds to such requests in an expeditious manner.

Brigadier Lajide told our correspondent that he was a former director of records at the Nigerian Army headquarters and had seen records of older and retired generals. He added that he was in no doubt that General Buhari’s records were intact.

Brigadier Olaleye insisted that the claim in a major Nigerian newspaper, that the army could not locate Mr. Buhari’s record was untrue.

.You can see from the Brigadier's response that Buhari is meant to be with the original and the army the photocopies of his credentials.The army is not denying being with the photocopies.Another question u should ask urself is this:What is the content of the photopies they have?Is it FSLC or WAEC or what?Have u forgotten that u can be enrolled into the military without certificate during Buhari's days in the army?Bros,there is a serious problem.Watchout.He is gettting disqualified soon.Seriously he does not have the certificates.He has some but not all of them.

“We met in Lagos. I just relocated from London and he just returned from Chicago. We got talking because he wanted me to present a television show. I did not get the job but I did get the dude. It was work-related but we found out we connected. We were friends for a while before we started dating.Then, I was not out for a date.I liked him for his confidence and he gave me my space too. He was a real gentleman and well-spoken. When it was time for the engagement, I knew it would
happen, but I did not know when. I knew what it was like to make a mistake because my parents were not together and I needed to be sure. I was career driven but not driven about marriage.

On the proposal

“The proposal was really nice.He
got down on his knees and proposed and people were emotional. Shortly after that, we got married. We had Ayomide, our first daughter, who is now three, and Dasola, who is 10
months old now.”

On the rumours

They peddled all sorts of stories-His parents did not like me and that I quit acting. But it’s not possible that I would be married if my father-in-law did not like me. I was not even 40 years old yet and people started calling me an ex-actress. It was hard
for me! But I decided to live my life and I stopped paying attention to maintain my sanity. How could anyone think I would quit my job because I got married? They said this because I married into a wealthy family, but I still have my purpose and goals that I want to achieve.”

On Challenges

“Celebrity marriages are not
different. The only reason is that
people are looking at you. The
challenges are the same but are
amplified in celebrity marriages.
That puts a lot of pressure on the
union. The first thing is to marry
your friend. You have to marry for the right reason. I married for love;someone I am totally in awe of and respect. It is difficult, but when you have God, there is a balance that comes with it. It is fun and challenging. It is easy to get frustrated but people need to remember their vows.”

On cutting her dreadlocks

“I made up my mind that I wanted to wear dreadlocks, and when I was tired of it, I decided to cut it. My husband did not want me to cut my hair; he wanted our children to meet me with the hair. I dance to the beat of my own drum and my path is different from every other person’s. I have my own mind; if I let people shape my opinions of myself, I will not be authentic to myself.”

The Nigerian army has stated clearly that it is not in possession of General Buhari's original certificate.

According to the army,it does not have in her possession the original certificates of serving or retired officers or soldiers.It is only the photocopies of credentials of officers and soldiers that can be found in the personal files of army at the
army secretary’s office.Original
certificates are only required at the time of entry into the force either through the cadet or
recruit as proof that the photocopy presented are
correct.The army went ahead to say that any claim of the force being with the original certificate is totally false.

As a result of this,rumours have it that PDP has connived with INEC to disqualify General Buhari anytime from now due to his inability to present copies of his original certificate.
