Seems the iroot didn't root it, re=root.. Just make sure you've got access to how to recover your phone incase its got brick... Just saying!! .

If you have CWM , just download from the link above, have it in ur SD root , boot in recovery , select instal fron SD, select the file u downloaded, then click on yes install, watch till its done... Buh if you don't CWM... This method not meant for you....

I've done that severally bro.... Still not gaining access... Don't know if something is wrong with the procedure... I boot into recovery. Chose install zip from SD.. Then locate the Su.zip file... Then I scroll down select yes install... ,, where did _wented_ wrong na....

Do you have CWM installed on your P4 before upgrading to kit kat? If yes then it's simple follow the procedure used in flashing the kit kat Rom to flash this file(placed the super su zip file in the root of your sd card, reboot your phone into cwm recovery and locate your zip file then flash it voila! You are now rooted) , you don't need the iroot anymore the super su will root your phone instantly. If you don't have CWM on your phone this rooting method is not for you.

Thought I rooted successfully with iroot, not until some application aren't working, I then went for root checker.... This what I got... Any other means of rooting kitkat?

Swiss...., shey that same recovery.img used for backup on jellybean can still work for this kitkat? Done porting to kitkat. Rooted too!!!

this KitKat can't revive the phone oooo....he has to wake the phone first with sp flash tool then that's when he can now flash this cwm KitKat

I'm not referring to reviving his phone, referring to the cwm recovery method flashing KitKat rom
