Share dividends in dollars won't come as cash deposits. They will be transferred into the respective domiciliary accounts, so the ban does not affect such situations!

I just found out that the two screen warranty that was advertised with the Samsung S5 is actually a scam!

I bought one of the S5 phones last year September from an accredited Samsung dealer and they confirmed to me that the screen warranty was still available as at then, infact they registered my phone for the warranty on the spot!

Unfortunately, the screen broke sometime in July and I took the phone back to the same dealer who sold it to me. He actually received the phone and promised to send it to their service center for repairs under the warranty, only for me to go back there yesterday (after three weeks) and was told that it cannot be repaired under the warranty because Samsung International had not paid for previous screen repairs made under the warranty!

On further enquiries, I was told that they could repair it at a cost of N38,500!

This is a total breach of contract please.

Anyone who can pass this message on to the relevant Samsung authorities should kindly assist in doing so.

I might as well buy a new phone with that amount!

But on ur piece on importing from Chile, I'd think that it'll depend on what is being imported. Chile's climate naturally encourages production of some sort that is impossible here in Nigeria, just like it would be impossible to have Chile produce and export garri.

A 28-year-old-lawyer, Igho Oyubu, was on Wednesday night killed by suspected assassins, four days after his wedding in Warri, Delta State.

It was learnt that the Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State, law graduate was killed by armed men, who invaded his home at  12, Ojo Street, off Jakpa Road, Effurun, at about 9:35pm.

Sources said the hoodlums did not take anything away from the apartment, except Oyubu’s wedding band.

His wife was said to be away at the State University, Abraka, where she is a student, when the incident occurred.

It was gathered that Oyubu could have survived if he had received prompt medical attention at the Ekpan General Hospital.

A doctor allegedly refused to treat him.

Sources said an officer from Ekpan Police Station led efforts to save the life of the young lawyer.

The policeman said: “A doctor we met on duty bluntly refused to treat him.

“He was rushed to the Warri General Hospital but it was too late; he died shortly after.”

It was gathered that the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ekpan Police Station, Mr. Muazu Mohammed, who was monitoring the development on telephone, broke down in tears, when he heard the news.

Muazu confirmed the report, describing the death as tragic.
