Kanu is a terrorist. Why would anyone advocate for his release?

This is a proactive measure by the Federal Government to ensure the safety of students and staff in those Unity Colleges.

The ongoing security challenges affecting schools, especially in the North, is a serious concern.

The Federal Government made the right decision. The security of our children is paramount. The FG should ensure the closure is temporary and monitor the situation closely for when it is safe to reopen those schools.

Shehu Sani's comments make sense. Life imprisonment is not the end for Kanu. At least he can still enjoy the view of the Biafra flag from his cell.

I dont know why his supporters are feeling sad.

The life sentence is justifiable considering the severity of his actions. How can he be described as a freedom fighter when he committed crimes against humanity?

The ruling is a solid step in ensuring that terrorists and treasonous acts against the state do not go unpunished. Kanu has a lot to answer for and I am glad the judiciary is upholding the law in this regard.
