PoliticsRe: Government Abandons Residents As Heavy Rains Causes Flooding In Bayelsa by ogbenicodes(m): 9:12am On Sep 14, 2014
dmoville: These pictures were exclusively taken by Sayelba Times to show the world how Bayelsans have been suffering. Its really unfortunate that we have a government that doesn't really care about its people. Goodluck Jonathan is the president of Nigeria not Bayelsa, he has the whole country to cater for not only Bayelsa. We have a governor who collects billions every month but noting to show.
And they would be quick to show "lagos, southwest state" in the bad light? Well this isn't your fight. The president was once a governor, what did he do there? The Governor of bayelsa is an asslicker of the president, so what goes in and out of bayelsa is with Jonathans consent

PoliticsEBOLA: Before It Is Too Late!- A Nairalander by ogbenicodes(op): 2:47pm On Sep 12, 2014
Wouldn't bore you with story, Ebola came to Nigeria July 25(6 weeks) by the American Liberian; Patrick Sawyer, 40years of age. And since then it is obvious our government lacks the competence to deal with it.

A country that knows how its medical facilities are/ is, ought to have done these following things since the outbreak:

1. Temporary Closure of all public meeting places;
church, Rallies, Supermarkets, 'SCHOOLS'- Main
reason for this post.
Since EBOLA can be transferred mere contact(once
the virus touches the reddish part of the human
skin) and the curbing it would means reduction in
public gatherings. Primary and Secondary student
are prone to spread the virus speedily than adults,
so then the government asked all schools to shut
down till further notice, then quickly reversed its
decision that they should resume October 13, the
issue of school shutting down should have been part
of the first steps taken by the government since the
outbreak, but what do we have weeks after was
when they deemed it fit to temporarily close down
Nursery, Primary and Secondary schools.

Let's assume the temporary shut down was delayed due to some issues, why are they about to Open it?, despite knowing how "EVD" would spread once it gets to kids? Why the irrational withdrawal of the said date? I really do want to believe our
Government is on top of the situation like they claim, and not giving unnecessary hope when we
know there isn't.

Its a good thing teachers are kicking against the
resumption of schools... If not!

Let's kick against the resumption of SCHOOLS for
our own and family sake

EducationRe: Unilag 2014/2015 Admission. by ogbenicodes(m):
angry Okay so am vexed already, have done the following:
1. Have been screened, the first day accounting did.
2. I have paid the school fee, that was on tuesday(9/9/2014).
3. After then I proceeded to library for 'its' registration, partially done that.
4. What you get at the library is a card, you pay a token of #200 to get it. After collecting the 'card' we were told to go to three places, they include;
(I). Bursary Department
(II). Your Faculty
(III). Your Department, but since my department and faculty hasn't started anything yet. I went to the 'bursary' upon paying my school fee(you can collect the library card without paying school fee, but you can't get it stamped in the aforementioned 3 places listed). I have the stamp of only a staff of the bursary department.

These are the issue I am facing now;
1. Is there any nairalanders, your friends that you know, that has done the Faculty and departmental registration, specifically ACCOUNTING?
2. After all I have stated above, its obvious I am on the right track, is there anything I am lagging behind in?
3. Since the last time I printed which was before screening started at all, I haven't printed any thing else, which means I didn't print 'payment advice' before paying my school fee; is there anything I am too print now?
4. I need answers Biko, Ejoor, Please...
5. How much is the faculty and department dues for Business administration and accounting? Or is it the same for all faculties? And how much is it, who/where are we to pay it?
6. Is there any accounting here also? Any idea when our registration is commencing?

Soughtout, I called you this morning.
Thanks and regards as you answer.

tokunboh: GEJ will not want to be friends with David West cos Prof West is not corrupt. He did not steal a dime when he was petroleum minister.
Very poor attempt, why don't you answer all the questions you are being asked? Fairly used, What is Gej doing with/about Sheriff?? Fairly Used.

So I have done the "first stage" which is screening, did that on monday, accounting'. Faculty registration is next week I believe, correct me if am wrong, then also have been trying to pay school fee but it has been to no avail,e.g, the payment advice slip we are to print online seems to have some fault. Any other option?
