semuni:IF you read the Judgement, you will know Ighodalo stands a big chance to win The Tribunal Judgement is against OKPEBHOLO--- ![]() How? Let me clear you IF OKPEBHOLO losses at the Tribunal - he may just give up and wont spend money anymore and go away No NO NO - THEY WANT HIM TO PAY THE APPEAL COURT JUDGES billions too before Supreme Court slams his head Do you know the TRIBUNAL just said the document submitted was not enough except witnesses were called ? THE LAW STATES THE IF YOU HAVE CTC OF THE POLLING UNITS, YOU DO NOT NEED TO CALL WITNESSES --- The Tribunal Judgement will be overturned!!! It is like your employer telling you- IF YOU SUBMIT YOUR ORIGINAL UNIVERSITY DEGREE- IT IS NOT SUFFICIENT - you have to go call your HOD and DEAN of FAULTY and VC to prove you are a graduate - who does that ? ![]() IF Supreme Court upholds this judgement - then every certified govt document presented in law courts henceforth will no longer be tenable - you will have to go call whoever issued it as a witness - HOW IS THAT SUSTAINABLE ? ![]() |
SalamRushdie:abeg no mind am |
Arapmoi22:The madness you have just imposed on yourself will be sustained in Jesus name, Amen! Enjoy your madness ![]() |
Akpakomiza2:Are you one of the Tribunal Judges? |
seunmsg:Thank you for this advise, sore losers should accept sefeat and stop wasting everyone’s time The CTC presented by ASUE IGHODALO which was given to him by INEC shows Ighodalo won! So why should he call witnesses ? when the law states that where the CTC is available, there is no need for witnesses When the people resort to self help and elexrion day becomes a civil was were INEC officials are burnt alive, pleaae dont statt ranting online that “jungle justice” is not cool This behavior of yours is what made Uromi tragedy to happen, when the people feel it is a waste of everyone’s time to seek justice from the legal system! |
Allogic:till jisos come abi? ![]() |
Divide Nigeria now - before full blown war erupts India and Pakistan did the same - former British colony and the sky did not fall When war starts - it will be harder then to divide it as you wont know who to negotiate the secession with now that the leaders of every region are still intact and sane -- divide Nigeria now!!!! |

Astrid4:Was it the immigration official that notified the NDLEA to check the man ? Was the NDLEA official seating at an assigned desk when he asked the traveler for his passport? For all I care - that man may be off duty and decided to seat in a general area to hussle Officials of Drug control or Immigration world wide have a desk - EXCEPT those doing the search at designated points which are manned by officials "STANDING" - emphasis on "STANDING" - not some random fellow sitting his butt down and deciding who to harass or intimidate at random! |
Commentor:why did you not let the world use your useless naira since? |
I do not blame him for recording them - most of those airport officials are always looking to prey on innocent travellers NDLEA is not supposed to check anyone's passport - they are not immigration |
Iamgrey5:fair weather friend spotted america has been helping the world for decades - now america needs helps u want to abandon the dollar pesin like u no go ever remember good wey pesin do for u ![]() |
Creamypie:For goodness sakes, this guy needs to be executed- he took the life of another person in cold blood and where is the punishment. ? He must be executed- where there are no consequences, there is anarchy All this leave am for God, leave am for God na him Nigeria take baje like so…. hmmmmmm |
Vision101:God bless you - and those hell bent on holding the people captive dont want to let go if we will always have leaders like YarAdua or Jonathan who are not power drunk, then Presidentialism and is great - but if we have power drunk leaders like Obj, Buhari and Tinubu, Presidentialism can be hell |
Esthered:Thanks for that question The Parliamentary System aka Westminster system of Government is clear cut It has very little chances of being bastardized like the Presidential system, because —- No matter how rich or powerful you think you are, your election is only decided in your federal constituency- That was applied during the IBB transition program called “Option A4” The likes of General Yakubu Gowon could not make it past their own Local Government Area So, it is a beautiful thing… there must be an official opposition party and shadow cabinet and the federal government must fund them to offer robust opposition - and they will do it easily because they want power too, the opposition can easily become the main if major coalitions disintegrates and new aliances are formed and new seats are won by new parties so everyone in on their toes Government can change easily when things ate not foinf well unlike the Presidential system where everyone is stuck with a bad leader for 4 to 8 years, not so with the Parliamentary system A simple vote of “No Confidence” by the parliament forces the Prime Minister and his cabinet to resign. With new coalitions being formed.. the opposition can take power easily And the sweet part is that the President alone can dissolve the Parliament and call for elections so that Members of the Parliament can go back and teat their popularity with their constituency- Also the appointment of the President is ratified by the Prime Minister - you see everyone checks each other So the Ptime Minister is a member of parliament by law so he or she is careful too not to abuse power… Just imagine if every election in Nigeria is betwen candidates in only 3 local government areas called a Federal Consistency- The comduxt of elections will be easier and the leaders will be held accountable easily. |
AKAyomide:On the contrary - Benue, Plateau, Kogi etc People with all the trouble of Fulani herdsmen attack do not consider themselves northerners but middle belters, what nakes you think a party that us strong in Sokoto will be strong in Adamawa and Taraba? stop these your fear mongering- Presidentialism is not working, eeeed to try something else… haba your stockholm syndrom is to anothet level - 25 years of going through failure, you want usto be stuck in it Nigeria is not matured politically for Presidential system- These fools here saying they do not want parliamentary system here fail to realize 1. There will be a shadow cabinet that means, the opposition will be payed and politicians will be more relaxed not to defect to ruling party 2, There will robust debates always before money is spent and no one President can capture all the arms of government as we see now 3. Elections will be cheaper to conduct because you are only focused on your federal constituency and not the whole country 4. This will attract the best and the brightest members of the society to represent their people - Drug lords and criminals wont make it there 5. The shadow cabinet brings in a better opposition not like what we see now where politicians only wait for the next election 6. The Prime Minister is the Head of Government and the President has powers too to check mate the Legislative arm so there is balance 7. It is not a winner takes it all situation - coalitions exist and every party tries to outperform the other to gain the people consent always 8. The President and the Prime Minister (who are members of different parties must work together) not One man becoming a King over all 9. Tribal Marginalization will reduce as at least 95% of all tribes will have a chance to seat at the Federal Parliament with their Representatives 10. The Institutions like INEC, Police, Army , CBN etc are stronger in Parliamentary systems due to strong oversights. It was during Parliamentary system we had 23 years old Matthew Mbu become a Federal Ministern in this Nigeria - Can that happen today? With Hundreds of Billions of Nigeria required to contest Presidential election ? so when that All powerful President emerges, why will he any 23- year old who did not contribute anything financially substantial to his campaign? |
Esthered:On the contrary- it reduces the cost of governance as the Ministers will be elected members of parliament- not just anyone from the street because he us a friend of the President, so the likes of Betta Edu who embezzled billions of naira would not have been Ministers in the first place |

But if a 23- year old wins to represents his/ her Federal Constituency in the Parliament, he /she stands a chance of becoming a Minister You see - every youth in this country need to support the Westminster system - as it makes more sense than the Presidential System! |

masseratti:In your haste to respond emotionally, you are making silly mistakes of typos I was a full grown adult when Abacha ruled Nigeria from Nov.17 1993 to June 8. 1998 (when he died) If you were an adult then, as you claim in your response, where is /are the lie/lies in my opinion about the Abacha era? If indeed you were alive then as you claim, the hunger in Nigeria today, was it same with then (1993-1998) ? YES or NO Did you ever hear of anyone kidnapped ? (Even when the likes Mexico and Honduras were experiencing it then, it never happened in Nigeria) Yes, the military does not rule by voter's consent - Does your vote count in this democracy? so what is the difference? Meanwhile under the military - criminals know they will face the bullet after tribunal judgement - BUT under your democracy, certified bandits and kidnappers who have blood on their hands are busy getting NECO result inside jail, getting payed, served with delicious food and recruited to join the army and other security agencies - they are getting better welfare package than you - who is not a criminal IF THAT IS THE DEMOCRACY YOU ARE PRAISING HERE - MAY THE GOOD LORD FORGIVE YOU! |
Love800:please read this your comment 5 years from today! |
Sonofgod1990:I am happy for you, congratulations However - after u get the PR, you get citizenship you get your career, business and all what you went there for, a day will come, you want to breathe the air of the land of your birth, you want to walk freely in the street you grew up to reminisce the the good old days with your friends, family and neighbors- and then the kidnapper shows up, the armed robber comes knocking… the bad roads creates an accident situation, the police extorts you, malaria came and the medications aint effective because they are fake, the lights wont come on because the national grid has been down in past 72 hours… you went to the petrol station to get fuel for your generator and there are long queues and probably no fuel. you want to check out but the flight from your airline announced NAHCO has payment issues and they are suspending flights temporarily- and your malaria became worse and its lookig like typhoid and the hospitals are on strike, you went to private clinic and they are out of basic medical supplies and their nurses have turned prayer warriors because there is nothing else to offer the patients Then you will realize that accepting that money and leaving for Canada wthout putting up the work yo liberate your people was the biggest mistake you ever made! |
God bless the soul of Gen. Sabi (Sani) Abacha When he ruled Nigeria, we all could eat We all could sleep with 2 eyes closed We all could travel without getting kidnapped Yes, he was ruthless to whoever opposed him But at least IF you dont oppose him, u ar Ok Today being alive alone in Nigeria is a risk Even if you dont oppose the government You still are not safe from hunger You are not safe from insecurity Today - those who opposed Abacha’s regime Calling it undemocratic wont lift a finger to 1. Protect our lives and property 2. Ensure we are safe from kidnappers 3. Stop Fulani from killing our farmers 4. Ensure every Nigerian lives with dignity Abacha Sani, please forgive me for opposing you then, we were all deceived by NADECO Today, a NADECO chieftain is at the helm He is worse than anything you could ever be God bless you for warning us then that they are a threat to National Security- Today you have been vindicated, God bless your soul 😇 |
