But from Transamadi to Rumuodara, from Rumuola to CFC, from Garrison to Rumuokoro, from Rumukpokwu to Rumuibekwe, I can tell you what is obtainable at every corner.
You probably were made to part with 50k because you took one way. Cuz I’m sure you are talking about those boys that drive hilux with damaged front.
But you will agree with me that you will have no business with them as long as you keep to basic rules of the road. Which is unlike Lagos where touts run rampage.
Even the touts that collect money from drivers on the road are cultured. I’ve not seen them fighting any driver on the road nor even a scuffle. Unlike Lagos where fights between touts and drivers are daily routines.
If you have lived in Lagos you wouldn’t be arguing with me. I get your point. You are right about their identity. What happened was that my friend packed in the midst of taxis at YkC. For the fact that taxis were there and they came for us made their claim of wrong packing watery. The guy didn't even pack. We stopped to ask for direction. Good day brother, and enjoy the garden City. |

erad: Bro... I get you once again.
But the same right you have to speak on societal issues and air your opinions without being an elected official is the same right Lere has. That's why I said you were being emotional.
Lere is stakeholder in Nigeria as well as you and me. He has a right to air his opinions according to his constitutional right to freedom of speech that you spoke about earlier.
He aired his opinion, he's not trying to enforce it. He only made his thoughts known like most of us do in a more civil way than most people I've seen online. We can have a different opinion from him without trying to villainize him.
We've seen people say worse things than him and and we look the other way because we like them or they belong to our part of the divide. I think the fact that he is an official spokesman to the fct minister disqualifies him from making some utterances. Whatever comes out of his mouth is seen as an official position of his master. It will be difficult to seperate his personal opinion from his official position. For me, he should concentrate on his job of spokesperson to the minister until such. a time that he seizes to be. |

Majesty33: To be candid, Nigeria need a leader like Wike, a stubborn troublesome thug that will give all leaders in party level a run for their money. While he himself is dirtier than a pig. Wike is not a good leader. If it doesn't favour him nobody should get it. He is too self centered for a leader. A man whose ego is bigger than his heart can not do well as a leader. My advise to Peter Obi is to be focussed. He should watch before he leaps. The troubles of the PDP are far from over. Until the likes of damagun and other moles in the PDP is wiped out the party will not move forward. In my opinion, Obi running as the candidate on any platform will fall short. He should collaborate with a strong northern candidate. At this point there's nothing like the turn of the South. It's time to take off the gloves and fight. When tinubu, a Muslim, chose another Muslim in shetima to deputies, "the turn of a Christian deputy" didn't stop his victory. Obi should work with a strong northerner in 2027 and run afterwards. |

OLADD: Firstly, when has it become a crime for a Nigerian to sojourn abroad and still deem it necessary to contribute his quota to national development? For your information., Atiku shuttles between Nigeria and Dubai but run people oriented businesses in Nigeria. Atiku operatives tertiary educational institutions and agto businesses in Nigeria that have many Nigerians working for them.
Do you know what, many of our monarchs were once soujouning abroad at one point or the other before returning home to take up traditional roles. Tecnocrats like Okonjo Eweala were once based overseas before been called home to serve thier fatherland when the need arose. Living abroad does not erode the Nigerianess in any individual.
Secondly, get your facts right before drawing inferences. Atiku was a founding member of PDP. He contributed immensely to its growth before some opportunists hijacked the party. While I will not totally support the idea of changing parties at will, our democracy has not developed to the level where a politician can stay glued to one party and still hit his target. After all, virtually all standout politicians in Nigeria - Obi, Kwakwanso, Elrufai etc have had the course to change political parties in a bid to achieve thier ambitions.
Don't denigrate Atiku for what all Nigerians politicians are guilty of. It's a sin against God and man. Changing political party is not an offence. The likes of Donald Trump, Tutsi Gabard, RFK Jr and some others changed from the democrat Party in the United States to the Republican and Libaterian parties. It's a matter of fulfilment. When a party no longer serves it founding purpose a reasonable and ambitious leader must shift base to actualize his political aim. Why would someone blame Atiku who is not holding any political office and turn a blind eye on serving governors who left the PDP for APC. This same tonye guy supports wike (PDP to APC) and damagun (an obvious APC mole), two men who destroyed the PDP and yet cry when Atiku says he's had enough of their shenanigans. |
