My mum died from a ghastly motor accident yesterday in Lagos. She was only 48. She was alive for a couple of hours. The hospital they took her to rejected her. She was in so much pain until she died! The last time I hugged her was on a Tuesday, 10th of August, 2021 when I branched by her workplace before heading to the airport. Little did I know that that would be the last time I’ll ever see her. Now I regret not calling her enough, calling her on video calls, reaching out to her when I have had the chance. This is so painful!
