leokid866: yes it was a success....please tell me all the Billions lost to canceled flight, shutting down banks, interfering with telecommunications, grounding of ports, lack of medication to patients and death of patients after shutting down the hospitals and power supply for those dependent on life support, not to mention loss of value borne by ordinary citizens due to lack of electtricity and shutting down the economy....the damage caused in the last 24 hours will take weeks to stabilize but if you count all these a success then I'm happy for you......👍🏾 100% Success. Government is back to the negotiation table.

Apel147: How is this relevant to the topic raised? Ain't u exhibiting sentiments and bigotry? Are the points raised not very valid? No be for this country we all grow up, when has there ever been an NLC strike with them forcing light to go off? Is it because labour is been headed by one of them whose brother lost an election? How is shutting down power thereby affecting SMEs or affecting patients in hospitals on life support fighting FG? Meanwhile if you check very well, the leadership of NLC kids school abroad!!! You are naturally daft so you can't relate nor understand. |

Government could have prosecuted them for that, that's why they just want to forget about strike because it was senseless. You are the one that is very senseless and jobless. The one day action was largely a success. The airports and national grid was completely shutdown for 24 hours +. |

MASTAkiLLAh: there can be no increment in anything without Labour's input. Was there an agreement between they and government for a 400k minimum wage if they support increase in tariffs and taxes ? If there was then, I'll support their strike but if there isn't then they might as well fûck off.
PS, my post is about workers in critical sectors like electricity especially joining the strike with it's attendant blackout. No nation will watch as it's energy sector is tampered with at will except Nigeria so it's not as if I'm opposed to a strike but they should use their heads What are the evidences they were consulted or that they supported the increases and removal of subsidy? All the policies that the BAT administration has made in the last one year which and which did they consult Labour b4 making? Workers in the critical sectors do they have a special market where they buy their own commodities at a discounted rate or special filling stations where they buy fuel cheaper? |

muykem: Peter Obi has finally spoken on the killings in the Southeast, more than twenty four hours after the event, but only after intense pressure to speak from critics. This is a man who speaks within hours when it happens in other regions.
Check his X post. He just spoke only two minutes ago as an afterthought! Has the sniffer visited any of the villages in the middle belt or North where hundreds are being slaughtered everyday since he assumed office? Yet they passed a bill on new anthem and signed it into law within a week because the sniffer wants it.
