Whether you a doctor or a carer, and anywhere in the world, as a professional, you should operate within a certain guideline and framework. Those guidelines and framework ensures that you conduct yourself properly while on the job and all selfish desires and conflict of interest is put at bay. Some call it work ethics and other names but the job of these rules and guidelines is to prevent issues like this one. The client is your client, not your child, daughter, wife, son ,uncle or whatever. Under no circumstances is he allowed to kiss anyone whether forehead, backhead or wherever, not to mention the lips. I worked in the hospital and in theater at some point, when you see a naked woman in pains or discomfort or okay sef but just went under the knife for corrective surgery, do you start getting cuddly and hugging up and down in the name of care, the answer is CAPITAL NO. you not allowed to do that. The patient should be treated with dignity and respect.
Person like that no fit work for hospital o, cos it's a matter of time, he would soon get funny ideas and same for women.
Just imagine na you wife, sister or whatever is in that shoe, where the job of the person is to care for that your family member and one person dey kiss your family like that say he dey pity the person, what will be your reaction? No to mention the situation the client is. Even if he get interest, make client well first and be out of the care or hospital, una go come reason that matter.

So don't say things cos you are ignorant of the ethics of that position. He crossed the line and am sure he knows cos he would have been trained to know that. So he should enjoy the reward of his actions

Having taken much time as a medical personnel to outline the ethics in the medical line, I really appreciate your submission.
