Wetin dey vex me is that after stealing our common money, we go still use our police being paid from the tax we paid to protect them. If policy makers doesn't have special security, Nigeria would have been safe because they will do anything to protect everyone because they are involved too. Here one man ex lawmaker or even minister has 5 mobile police man protecting him that is paid from our tax money. The IG should withdraw all including past governors. Only presidents should be accorded that respect. Make all of us dey huzzle safety  e go make the present serving ones to get sense and do the right thing |

It is always difficult to fight radical groups that are faceless and have no station. At the end of the day innocent people may suffer especially youths that have suspicion looks. These guys appear and disappear. The call for the release of nnamdi Kanu is so that after his release anybody terrorising the people is now a criminal. Now you can't differentiate the criminals from the kalu freedom fighters. And as an elder in the region, if you say anything against them, they come for you and your relatives. That is the difficult part. The army can't be everywhere. And most of the operations of the group is hit and disappear. There are issues that should be handled diplomatically. |

With buhari and now president Tinubu approach of deaf ear to what is happening in the south east, it looks like a game plan to destroy the economy of the south east. If not how can a government give a deaf ear to this type of situation? Diplomatic approach most times works more than force. Most elders and leaders from the south east has come out to suggest what will settle this one and for all and the government just keep quite. Nobody cares about what is happening in the south east. nick50: When warri was booming, the people were disturbing and stoping oil companies from operating with very hard conditions. At the time they felt the oil companies have no option. Now the oil companies relocated all their activities out from warri. Go to warri today and you will shed tears. It's a ghost town already. Same will happen to Lagos if the managers of Lagos think they are smart by chasing away non indegens with their policies. Presently you hardly see non indegens buying property in Lagos. This will crash the real estate business. Small scale business will soon follow suit. Seaport is not that it takes to do business. All is because of selfish interest of few that don't care about you the common man. The hardship is just starting but I pray for my country. As fuel subsidy is removed which means more money to government, soon we will be hearing 900 billion disappears in cbn They takes from the poor masses to enrich themselves and we are hear shouting it's my brother. Not until we stop the tribal things and voting on tribal line, worst days are ahead. If not, how did APC came back to government upon all they unlashed on Nigerians. I'm not a police officer nor do I like them but let's be frank here, every office have rules. Even in company offices if you flaunt the rules, you can be worked out or arrested if you prove otherwise. There is no way all officers in the station will allow to be detained if you behaved yourself. Carrying a phone in a police station is not allowed. The officer demeanour must have changed due to what you said. Moreso there should be office hours. 9 pm is late. In as much as we cry police brutality perpatrated by few eggs, we should also respect the fact that without the police, we won't be a bit safe to live. Nobody takes Insult in his office. The policy will work and naira will even appreciate with the policy. What guips our forex is fuel importation. Dangote coming on the stream will salvage that because he will be selling in local currency and will also bring in forex from his exporting the remaining product. Don't forget that we will also be selling crude, other exports, individual and cooperate businesses and foreign remitances from diasporians. What we import in a day can't be more than the crude we will sell that day. Let's see as it goes but there is light at the end of the tunnel and jagaban is a marverick. The problem is that the government wants to hands off funding education and this means higher fees. So if you are poor, you can only access education by the loan which you must pay back. Government universities will be determining their fees which will be high and you can't complain because you have an option. |

Whatever loan and investment dangote has made, if he calculates and deducts shipping cost, we are supposed to get it at a cheaper rate compare to what we are buying before plus subsidy. Is Nigeria giving him the crude in naira or dollar rate. In all dangote don't care about you. So don't expect anything cheaper. 1 Like |
