For your information, people started saying the same thing you posted about this country right from the Shagari regime.

It's nothing new, it doesn't make it right but it's not unique to this regime.

What you should look at is the bigger picture. We had people borrowing money to pay subsidies to their friends and of course taking a cut. That petrol was cheaper or that Naira was 1-1 to a dollar, that was not important.

Despite the harsh economic conditions, some will still thrive. Hopefully whoever wins in 2027 will plough the sensible route this government is taking regarding subsidies and the likes.
