I know u got a high mark but unfortunately d cut-off didn't favour u. Ur not getting medicine this year doesn't mean u ave lost it forever. Delay is not denial. I've been reading ur posts. Cheer up Brother and look towards d future.

The cut off for health sciences may not be real cos the marks re too high. I may be wrong though. But let's wait and see.

Lol. Someone is talking about me not knowing anything her or not needing my help. I laff in German. Na so u dey throw away opportunities wit ur hand. If u hav this record, u can push me aside. I went to O.A.U staff school, O.A.U. International School, presently a 500level Medical Student in O.A.U, Dad and Mum are highly placed(both staff) and all in all, i single handedly help atleast 7 aspiring students gain admission into O.A.U yearly with no cost attatched.

I don't wanna comment on d cutoff cos of many close scores;Emotional stress dey inside talking realistically 4 those not close;

When d cutoff was 270.5;I had avg score of 260.5 didn't make d catchment sef 4 my state;(my state catchment was 269.5)
then we had manipulated our cutoff to b 260+or-4
Considering d former year b4 den;d cutoff was 262!
Was not able to make it then;
U guys need to see d emotional underwent then and even previous year then!
In DAT case I wud rather we keep praying not just pray cos I pray then;
Pray for GOD's Grace!It is HIS Grace that can guarantee ones choice course.

taa...lilchris04 is the boss nt me bro. Eheheh, this' just my opinion:
last year, the no of applicants for medicine into oau was 10,000+ this year, it was only 7000+ (3k candidate gap is nt meagre) and 2500+ and 1092 passed the post ume respectively...(pls ruminate on d figures). The fear may be that many a people passed jamb this year more than last yea but seriously, that's a farce. Only 455k passed jamb this year compared to 2yrs ago where more than 560k passed above 200. And in the light of this post ume, there isn't any much significant difference between last year and this year...90 candidates scored above 300 last year with 33 science students (highest was 360 who chose law) whereas 106 candidates had above 300 this year with 22 science students (highest was 348.5 who chose English edu). Btw i know many cdl students didn't do well in post ume because a lot of us passed cdl exams so well that we rested on our oars- at least i know 3 pple that had 80 and above but didn't score up to 250. I have limited info.....bt i hope u can make a little inference from my 'never-ending' post. I dnt see d cut off getting above 280

Olokuntemidayo...278.5 is a big agg there...u can only wait for the good news. It may nt really be high..that's my feeling. It isn't really true that medical students passed post ume this year better than last year, infact i wld say 'poorer' and i can give a little analysis if u desire
