A drama played out at the Ikeja Magistrates’ Court, Lagos State, on Monday as the embattled hip hop artiste, Damini Ogulu, aka Burna Boy, was arraigned.
The suspect was brought into the courtroom by the Investigating Police Officer, Sergeant Olagunju Olatunji, when the court was about to sit and was whisked away in a sport utility vehicle immediately after his arraignment.
He swiftly entered into the waiting SUV, Lexus 300RX with number plate, AAA 473 DB, in company with some policemen in mufti and was escorted from the court premises to an unidentified location.

Nigerian Indigenous rapper, Olamide, whose concert ‘Olamide live in Concert 4’ will be holding today have been criticized for inviting SARS officer and singer, Yomi Sars to perform at the show.
According to the Twitter users who are calling for a boycott of the show, the invitation is a slap to the movement of calling the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigerian Police Force to order.

It was an interesting day on Friday, December 15 at University of Lagos (UNILAG) as super-talented Nigerian artiste, Falz the Bahd Guy showed up at the school’s radio station, UNILAG FM and had an interesting on-air chat with the Head of Presenters, Lamu.

The Lagos State Government on Friday disclosed that over 100 artistes cutting across all genres would be performing at this year’s One Lagos Fiesta, its flagship yuletide revue scheduled to hold from December 24 till early hours of January 1, 2018.Addressing journalists at the Bagauda Kaltho Press Centre in Alausa, Ikeja, Special Adviser to the Governor on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs. Aramide Giwanson, said the eight days non-stop Fiesta, which would hold in five different designated centres in Lagos simultaneously for eight days non-stop would consolidate on the success achieved last year.
She said this year’s edition would feature several A-list artistes, while several upcoming artists, dance group and cultural performances will combine to perform and thrill over 10 million Lagosians on daily basis for eight days.

Singer, Burna Boy has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly sending armed men to attack his colleague, Mr. 2kay at Eko Hotels and Suites.
The Command’s spokesperson, SP Chike Oti, in a statement said the ‘Soke’ crooner was “subsequently arrested, interrogated and detained and is expected to be charged to court on Monday alongside four of members of the gang earlier arrested”.
