Biggyd2: You don't have any free accommodation in Ebgeda right? You need to think this move over. Have you considered the amount of money you will be spending on transportation (if your journey is from VI, according to @Webcam)? You need to confirm that it won't be more than what you are to save from the rent at Egbeda in the long run. As for me sha, I like to cut off stress in my life as much as possible. I wouldn't like to take such long journey from Egbeda to Island for 5 working days (lol, that's me sha), if i can help it . Don't forget that we cannot always predict Lagos traffic. So because one closes early doesn't guarantee that you will always get home (Egbeda) early. And when the rains come, it gets worse. There are other places on the mainland that have better proximity to the Island. Just my 2kobo sha. The last decision is entirely yours.

However if your work place is close to or in Egbeda, then you have no problem. Good luck in your search and beware of water logged houses. This is dry season and those type of houses are not known until the rains come.
