@all there is a scammer on the prowl impersonating different people. The scammer mostly uses a Philippine country number to chat you on WhatsApp whenever you request for something here. If you are familiar with the clearance thread, you would have known this. Please let’s be careful in labeling innocent people as scammers. Whoever chats you up on WhatsApp, tell the person to quote you here first.

Lol even for CDCFIB you can still get if you are over 40, depends on your connect. I heard of someone who was obviously over 40 during the last 2024 fire service recruitment. At the point of documentation they rejected the “reduced age” he presented and told him to use his original age. The disadvantage is just that he would have lesser years to his retirement.

Firstly, MMA2 is a private terminal operated by Bi-Courtney… I’m sure you know that already.
Secondly, there’s no special “good” department to pick from… at best just pick operations.

The House of Representatives has officially passed the 2026 Appropriation Bill, approving a total expenditure of N68.30 trillion.

No be by passing, na implementation be the main thing. 2024 and 2025 budget are still largely unimplemented

I just stated what budgit released. They are running the larger chunk of the 2026 FY with the 2025 budget as 70% of it was rolled into 2026.

Infact, in this 2026, President Bola Tinubu ordered that no additional capital expenditure should be added to the 2026 appropriations.

The execution of the 2025 appropriations was a total mêss. Imagine some ministries such as the FMoH which got over 100 billion approved in the 2025 budget only receiving 36 million naira.

The Tinooboo administration easily proves to be the worst when it comes to budget execution and this is due to the fact that when funds are approved, and budgets signed into law, monies are hardly released for capital expenditure.

Just some weeks ago, some contractors stormed the NASS to protest non-payment of money spent to execute projects.

Las las, See this Tinuboo administration ehn? Na God go help Nigerians.

70% of that one has been moved into this year so 2025 budget wasn't fully implemented. They will recruit from this 2026 budget when, hopefully, it is passed by the NASS president Bola Tinubu assents to it in March.

Recruitment was captured in the approved 2025 budget, no single percentage of their 2025 budget has been released. The 2026 budget won’t be implemented till last quarter of this year.

SENATE COMMITTEE ON NORTH CENTRAL APPROVES NCDC 2026 BUDGET

The Senate Committee on the North Central Development Commission (NCDC) has approved the Commission’s ₦140 billion 2026 budget proposal.

During the budget defence held at the Senate Building in Abuja, the Commission’s management, led by its Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Cyril Yiltsen Tsenyil, explained that the budget estimates comprise of about 86 percent capital expenditure and the rest for personnel and overhead expenditure.

Dr. Tsenyil stated that the Commission is determined to consolidate its operations and lay a solid foundation for sustainable impact, while conceiving and executing strategic projects that will directly benefit the people of the North Central region.
Chairman of the Committee, Titus Zam, said the budget, if properly implemented, would significantly impact the region, particularly because of its strong capital component.

He noted that the Committee had thoroughly examined the proposals and would ensure that funds are judiciously applied to critical sectors such as infrastructure, agriculture, empowerment, and economic growth—areas considered vital to the development of the region.

Other Senators who scrutinised the budget proposals expressed satisfaction with the Commission’s focus on projects aimed at unlocking the vast potential of the North Central zone.

They also urged the NCDC to pay attention to the prevailing security challenges in the region by making strategic interventions to support displaced persons and address disruptions to economic activities.

Furthermore, members of the Committee emphasised the need for robust stakeholder engagement to ensure that communities across the North Central region fully embrace the Commission and contribute to its success.

The Committee thereafter dissolved into a closed-door session for further deliberations. Upon resumption, it formally approved the 2026 budget estimates of the Commission.

Sure I will as soon as I hear any information. Me sef no wan hear story say something don happen for back. One thing is sure, they will recruit but not until their funds have been released. Any person with related info should also please alert us. Thank you

I acted on this information and I was told that nobody has been employed yet at NCDC apart from the executives appointed by the president. In fact their office at Nasarawa state is mostly deserted as they are yet to receive their take off grant even till now. Please anyone that has more information on this should please share. Thank you.

The Senate on Friday fixed 17 March for final consideration and passage of the N58—472 trillion 2026 budget. Hopefully you guys should hear from NRS and CDCFIB soon.

Not at all, it doesn’t affect them. FIRS is self funding, the only money they received from 2025 budget was for the completion of their new headquarters building.

Hopefully, the budget will be passed in the first quarter just as last year's was done in february.

If you are counting on the 2026 budget for recruitment this year, then you should look elsewhere. 2024 budget was extended till December of last year. Over 70% component of 2025 budget has been moved to this year. So before you will see implementation of the 2026 budget, that would be till at least the last quarter of this year
