Penuelseun:Thanks for prompt reply. Please, how do i charge with that voltage? I have 24V 2.4kva Mercury inverter. How do i charge the batteries with 16v to 16.5v? Thanks |
Penuelseun:Equalization charge? I don't know what that is. I haven't done any special charge since i bought it new, apart from the routine inverter charging and usage. Please, enlighten me more on this and how to go about it Thanks |
Good evening house. I noticed my Tubular Mercury 220ah batteries backup time have reduced so i invited a battery charger to help me check the batteries, then he said the battery water is flat (not reduced at all at all) and i have to buy chemical to add to the water to increase its strength, then use their own battery charger machine to charge it. NOTE: the batteries are 8 months old and the water level haven't reduced at all. The back up time reduced to half of its former backup time. Please help me, i hope the battery charger isn't trying to scam me or even damage the batteries finally Thanks |
Hello house. I started using my two 200ah Mercury tubular batteries with 2.4kv 24V Mercury inverter on the 27th July 2020, when is the best time to refill/top up the battery water? Meanwhile, i have been checking the battery water indicators which haven't dropped at all (i didn't open the indicator nob or do i need to open the battery water nob to check the level from top?) Moreso, I discovered that the back up time/hours has reduced but not drastically. I noticed drop in the back up time. Does the water maintenance has the effect on this? If I'm to top-up the water, is there a particular water to use? Must it be from the Mercury company or just any acid water or distilled water? I'm scared if using any battery might spoil the whole battery. Thanks |
unicmarket:Thanks sir |
Valto:Thank you sir |
Valto:Thanks for your prompt reply sir My batteries are 200ah, can 10A work for it? I was told 10A is for 100ah and below while 20A is for 100ah battery and above. How true is this? Then, for the stabilizer, you advised 3kva to 5kva stabilizer. Is it to be connected to the inverter or the inverter to be connected to it? Thanks |
Good day house. I have a 2.4KVa 24V Mercury inverter with two 200ah Mercury batteries. I discovered that (in my area) the NEPA input and output ranges between 160-170V most times and thus making my TV guard/surge to go off many times (infact, almost 4 tv guards have been damaged in the process). Meanwhile, i put it on "inverter" mode and not "UPS" mode 1. Is it advisable to connect the tv gaurd to my 1kva stabilizer then, to the inverter, in order to increase the voltage (1kva stabilizer connected in between inverter and TV). Or does the inverter/ups mode has any effect on this (mine on inverter mode? 2. I have a 2Kva-2.3kVa Tiger generator (capacitor once increased to accommodate higher load). Is it advisable to use it to charge my inverter (2.4kva 24V Mercury inverter / two 200ah Mercury batteries)? I once connected it to the generator for like 1-2minutes and noticed inverter charging (bars moving) and no generator dragging. Does it mean it can charge it? And is it going to damage the inverter or the batteries or the generator? 3. I also noticed that my appliances like TV, home theatre always giving some sounds while on inverter back up, and the sound disappears immediately NEPA brings light (charging). Is there any problem with that? |
tetralogyfallot:Thanks for the response. Do you mean the black one is fake or the grey one is fake? |
Good day house. Please, what is the difference between mercury korea deep cycle inverter battery (200ah) (grey coloured case) and mercury deep cycle inverter battery china (200ah)(black coloured case)? Thank you |
Sold out!!! |
woodrow:Meanwhile, you haven't seen this car or tested it so why saying its not a car i can buy for myself? I don't get you |
woodrow:Your pocket speaks of what you buy. You think everybody can afford new car or toks? You should be realistic in your question too. If your pocket speaks less money, you can buy naija-used and upgrade to your taste. Cost effective. Thank you |
iAudio:I just want to dispose it. Need to upgrade. The car is Naija used and not wickedly used. meanwhile, inspection is allowed to know its functionality |
Alajehub:It's not a stolen car. Have been using the car for more than 4yrs now. |
