What’s the update on your gear box. How was it fixed

Good day all,
I have a Lexus rx330 that was having gear issues and I changed it recently
The issue I’m experiencing now is that when I start it in the morning to drive it works perfectly but after driving for like 10min and the engine gets hot it refuses to enter gear and when I step on the accelerator it only Revs but doesn’t move
After letting it cool again it works perfectly and but the same issue occur after a while

Spoke to the gear master that worked on the gear and he said that the issue is calibration(which I’m yet to even understand) since it’s 13pin

I need help and I want to ask if any one has an idea of the issue or what gear calibration is if that’s a thing.

My gear delays when shift to drive (D) for some seconds.
During the morning time, delay is in fewer seconds but when movement has been made the time delays increases. Sometimes it becomes difficult to engage.
but when it’s engage there are no delay in the transmission process. It drives smoothly.

When shift to (R) reverse. It engages at normal time.
There is no problem with R engagement.
