My experience with this boiling ring eh...

Funnily enough, it's still my go-to just for heating up water. Over the years, I've understood it and serves me well. It's very fast and easy to use especially when I need to heat up water. When I started using it, the plastics I use will melt because I didn't fill them to the brim.

I also remember using it to cook beans half done because I heard somebody say it. Same for white rice and it worked. Those days when we were trying to conserve kerosene or gas

The olden days heaters were good and worked perfectly well. But the ones we have now, can't even last longer by mere only boiling water. Heater consumes much power.
