The major difference I noticed

Awesome dual speaker sound quality and loudness
Upgraded camera feature and quality
128GB + 6GB ram (the reason I got it)
Battery does superbly and charges faster
Spen clickable functions are cool
Build quality is extremely perfect and feels premium
OS management seems better and faster

That being said the upgrades doesn't work the price difference from S8 plus unless you have money to throw about.
