I'm a student and also work online. So I decided to rent a new place last week. The major reason is that I need constant power supply.
In this area they use band A light.
But the problem is that other student occupants don't always pay for meter subscription.
Hence there is constant light but most times this particular house don't always have light.
Before paying for rent I actually asked one of the tenants, the person currently occupying the room I paid for and he actually assured me that the compound has no light issues.
So, when they gave them light a few days ago I decided to go and check the house myself and discovered they don't have light while other compounds have light.
I then decided to speak with another tenant and he started narrating the issue to me. In fact, for the last 3 days they've not seen light in the compound even though the street have had constant light.
That some tenants are even using ac, electric cooker and so on.
So when they recharge it doesn't stay long and worst some don't even pay. I was there until night when I saw one of the tenants, a lady going round to raise money they can use for subscription that night.
She didn't get a kobo from the over 20 tenants there. The compound is that big.
So, even if I say I want to sub for the prepaid meter, with 20 people I don't think N20,000 will even last for the month.
I made the payment but I'm yet to move to the house because the other occupants are still in the house.
Please I'm thinking of going to collect my rent back because I can't cope with this. How do I approach this issue please.
some wicked landlords will just create problems for their innocent tenants to manage. Pls look for a way to collect your money because this kain problem no dey end, nah frustration 101 u wan go face so
Exgee: Yes, that's the way forward. Any youth who isn't directly benefitting from Tinubu and he's wretched and poverty-stricken should avoid voting him in 2027 If you're suffering and you go on to vote him again, may your sufferness never end. Only God knows the suffering that I'm presently going through. Nobody knows. Nobody ever knew that I had attempted suicide twice last month. It took the swift intervention of my neighbors to rescue me from the act

Senator Adams Oshiomhole has clarified the events surrounding his recent confrontation with Air Peace, stating that his actions were driven by a desire to stand up for fellow Nigerian passengers who were unfairly denied boarding.
The former Edo State governor addressed the controversy, which has dominated public discourse since the airline accused him of disrupting operations and attempting to use security escorts to gain access to a flight after check-in had closed.
Obavoh: I came back from work yesterday to see my Wife’s younger Sister in my house.
I was surprised because no one told me she was coming. I greeted and welcomed her.
I later called my Wife aside and asked her why she did not inform me that her sister was coming to pay us a visit. That was when she broke the news to me that the girl was 3 months pregnant and had to leave the village because of shame.
My Wife begged me and even called the girl to come and kneel and beg me to allow her stay until she puts to bed. I was very angry at my wife for that.
I would love to help the girl but the problem is
1) My Father-in-law is not aware that his Daughter is pregnant. Only my Wife and Mother-in-law knows.
2) My Mother-in-law has not called to plead with me to let the Girl stay under my roof. My Wife asked me to call their mother to confirm but I think it should be the other way around.
3) I am currently managing a one room apartment with my Wife and 7 children. The place might not be conducive for a first time pregnant Girl. Feeding her is not a problem.
4) I am afraid I would be the one to pay her Medical bills, antenatal and all. When I asked my Wife she said her mother would pay but I don’t believe this judging from personal experience.
5) What if the girl suffers miscarriage or complications? God forbid. I might be held responsible.
Please advise me on what to do. My creator sees my heart that I would love to help but I am afraid. Should I let her stay or send her away? How do I do this without losing the respect of my Wife and Mother-in-law. What is the best way to help the Girl?
you have seven children, in one room? oga, nine of you in a room? chineke!!!! Sorry ooooh, sorry I withdraw my 'sorry' shame oooh. Unless nah lie u dey yan here

TempUser: I got a cooked cob of corn 🌽 yesterday evening from a friend. However, I decided to take it home cos it was too cold. Then I developed another plan.
I roasted it then snapped it into two to make two baits! 🧠 Sharp!
I strategically set the traps with experience, lest they eat my bait and still run away as they do sometimes-which used to be quite frustrating 😤
omo.....see kitchen knife ahaaa! Looks like the rats had a better life hmmmmm

DeLaRue: 1. If a petition has a financial / fraud element to it, it may come under the purview of the EFCC. Unless you have personal knowledge of the content of the petitions written against the man, how can you be sure that the Police rather than EFCC should be handling the matter.
2. EFCC did not leave Mr Yahya Bello as you have claimed. EFCC investigated him over several months, and he is currently being prosecuted. The case is still actively ongoing in court.
3) Again, as you dont know the exact nature of the petitions received by the EFCC, how can you say with confidence that '...EFCC will have no tangible accusation on VDM...'. While that may well turn out to be the case, we simply don't know at this stage. It is up to the EFCC to make a decision once they have considered the allegations in the petitions and the man's response to them.
4) According to you '...everything under the APC has become a joke ...'. So you are saying the laws of Nigeria should not apply to the man because he is more special than the rest of us in this country?
DeLaRue: So he was even invited several times but refused to present himself.
After that, the EFCC had the right to arrest him anywhere in Nigeria, whether at a bank, inside a hospital, or on a mango tree, provided they have a warrant or summons.
He clearly thought he was above the law. Now he has been humbled.
and you really believe this, hope they will publish the several invites that he refused to honour. Believe anything in this country at your own rosl6
