When I dream it usually comes true, I think it’s a gift of some sort like for instance, before my sister Titi got married to Frederick her then fiancé, I had dreamt and in that dream Frederick drove into our compound in a black Pajero SUV with his Father (Frederick’s mother is late) to greet my parents and officially make their intentions to take Titi known to all.

You know the way dreams go, scenes and people have a way of getting mixed up but I remember our parents seated at the balcony all dressed up as though for an important occasion. One funny transition after another, then I saw myself washing Frederick’s Pajero (which was coated in thick red mud) at the back of our compound. From out of nowhere, sets of canopies had already been erected right in the middle of our compound and someone’s traditional marriage rites were being performed. The entire atmosphere was electrifying!
Well, it turned out my sister’s traditional marriage went almost exactly as I’d dreamt, except for the car washing part, and two months after Fred had taken my lovely sis into his abode, he sold his old Toyota Camry. Guess which car he wheeled home in replacement? You’re right, a black Mitsubishi Pajero SUV!
But this time my dream says Paris, Euro 2016…


If you’re a dreamer, one good habit to form is belief in your dreams, don’t be quick to doubt them. Yes, I just said that but really, how will I ever get myself to be in Paris? I haven’t even bused to the national stadium in Abuja ever, and here am I, dreaming of watching a Live Euro 2016 match in Paris - hian! My dreams have gotten really ambitious, picture me backing the Eiffel tower as I strike a perfect pose for a night time selfie - imagine that, yeah. That was one scene amongst many exciting scenes in my dream! I didn’t stop believing, in fact when I almost doubted my dream for the first time in my life, guess what happened, I mean, what I saw on Facebook….
I saw this!
