These taxes are not merely supposed to be sources of income alone,, but methods by which the Government track how much money in the system, how they get into the system,, and how they are being spent...

Then I just remembered that in Nigeria as a country, we don't even have an accurate database which contains the number of the Nigerian Citizens and Residents who are working as employees (whether for the government or for private establishments),, or the number of those who are owners of businesses (whether they work alone in the business by themselves, or whether they employed any employees)..
