BarrElChapo: If they are sponsored by the US blame the Obama administration because we remember clearly that he refused to sell arms to the GEJ government in the wake the chibok girls abduction because we didn't legalise homosexualism as he was peddling for all over Africa. Yea this is true. The Obama govt didn't want terrorism to end in Nigeria. There are reports that were released of the US sponsoring terrorists under his administration. Trump wants to tackle terrorism and the genocide here and it's surprising that some set of Nigerians are opposing it. Funny enough, Trump never said he'll just attack these terrorists out of nowhere, he only said if the Nigerian govt refuses to do anything about it, the US will take charge. I wonder why we aren't talking about the govt actually doing more to tackle terrorism but rather bringing false analysis to put fear in Nigerians thinking they're better this way with loss of innocent lives being lost in thousands every year. The dangerous mentality a lot of us have here is that "as long as my family and I are safe, I'm good" and that's part of the reason why we're where we are today... |

mascot87: Let me tell you what you people don't know. In as much as I want all the Islamic terrorists and Fulani terrorists wiped out including there sponsors by the United State in the North, there would be a big humanitarian crisis in the South too and that's the fact. There is no law stopping the movement of people from the North to the South in Nigeria including the disguised terrorists. They will move down south to find shelter. We are talking about 250 million Nigerians here. Is the South ready for this infiltration and the consequences it will bring? Is the South ready to take care of the Northern immigrants because you cannot stop them from free movement. You're here opposing a credible plan to stop terrorism... Blocking targeted efforts to dismantle terrorist networks only protects violence and sacrifices more innocent lives. If you truly want an end to terror, stop undermining anti-terror operations. Stop spreading fear as an excuse to do nothing and back measures that bring perpetrators to justice.. |

Dotherightthing: Speak for yourself You have spoken like the typical Nigerian who doesn't care about your brothers and sisters but only about your own stomach. Statistics have shown that there are more Nigerians below the poverty line now than ever. So it is correct when someone says Nigerians can't afford to feed. But you can't understand because you have lost sight of our shared struggle and you are only concerned about your own comfort than the suffering of your brothers and sisters. Funny enough, this your mindset has become dangerously common amongst us... Reason corruption prevails here cause we have quite a number of Nigerians that think just like you. |

I'm surprised that people are coming out to talk about narrative and whatnot, but are not actually interested in the FG sending the military to tackle terrorism. President Trump made it clear in his message that if the Nigerian government refuses to do anything, the US will take action. Now why can't the government and her people take it as a push to do more in tackling insecurity and terrorism. Or is it that Nigerians have agreed subconsciously that FG will actually not tackle insecurity ?? |

Alliswell248: Peter Obi is wasting his time. He would forever be our social media president.
He would be retired politically by 2027. I wasn't even talking about PO. Come and defend the nonsense you said about Lagos not being what it is because of port... Better come and defend to show you have sense ooo atleast even if you don't support PO, show you're knowledgeable. |
Politics › Re: Peter Obi Calls For Port Diversification Beyond Lagos Amid $1 Billion Investment by Openair: 4:24pm On Oct 27, 2025 |
Alliswell248: Talk is cheap. Lagos and south West are what they are , not because of ports., but good governance and continuity. London, Nairobi, Paris, and many big cities does not have ports
Peter Obi does not have the competence to head this country. Read the nonsense you wrote again. Let me educate you even as you no get sense so; Apapa and Tin Can ports handle over 80% of Nigeria’s imports which contributes heavily in making Lagos a commercial hub. Since you never knew, London thrived historically as a port city on the Thames ... Paris benefits from the seine and France has major seaports in Marseille, Le Havre that support national logistics... Nairobi depends on Mombasa port.. Nigeria needs decentralized port infrastructure as over-reliance on Lagos is choking the system... There's potential for deep sea ports in Rivers, Delta, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River... And developing them would stimulate regional economies, create jobs and improve national security... You go just open your mouth waaa |

Bergavis: How CAF Will Determine the 4 Best Runners-Up for the Playoff (Post-Eritrea Withdrawal)
There are 9 groups in total, with only the group winners (9 teams) qualifying directly for the 2026 World Cup.
The 4 best second-placed teams across all groups will go into a CAF playoff, and the winner of that playoff will proceed to the intercontinental playoff for a possible 10th African spot.
CAF’s Official Criteria for Ranking the 4 Best Runners-Up 1️⃣ Points
CAF will rank all second-placed teams by total points earned in the matches that count (see rule 2 below).
2️⃣ Excluding Results vs the Bottom Team
In groups that still have 6 teams, results against the 6th-placed team will NOT count when comparing second-placed teams. 👉 This is to make things fair because Group E now has only 5 teams after Eritrea withdrew. For Group E, since there is no 6th team, all results count.
Tiebreakers (in order)
If two or more runners-up have the same number of points after removing bottom-team results, CAF will use the following criteria in this order:
Goal difference (in the counted matches only)
Goals scored
Away goals scored
Fair play record (fewer yellow/red cards)
Drawing of lots (if still tied) Thanks for this |
