& As for this "Main One" pple i dont trust ads that much anymore, na mouth they just they get but goin by one of the lines in tht ad which says:>> "We serve your server" now thats what i call KRAZY!! and i really hope they mean that & live up to that too. The demo date the put on there u can be very sure theyd give you the best of their connection all thru those dates cos they will definitely want to impress everyone with their power & speed and pple will be like w-o-w! but truth is, u wait till after u subscribe then phuck ups go com begin dey happn.
I just hope their speed is as good and juicy as their poster looks,

OKAY So in the light of the iwpv3.2 irregular bandwidth drop claim, they suggested we try out DAP instead of IDM to ascertain whether its IDM thts consuming the bandwidth drastically, well i still gotto say theres no difference. i startd with 18gb just dis mornin and as y'all can see thats the list of all ive downloaded today so far and what do i got left on the iwpv3.2 gui? > 14gb left! , so now im sure the prob is frm their servers jare,
I almost was gonna go ahead and pay for the dap premium service so i can get extreme acceleration cos at one point in time it seemed the iwp pple were correct about DAP but hell nah thing just startd dropping Soon as downloads completed, moreso payn for premium aint worth it cos the Free Dap itself still goes higher than emptyhen's 3.6Mbps speed.
Abegi im goin back to idm jare, o my beloved IDM how much ive missed u,

well theres just about a few factors associated with tht. With mtn u will definitely get nothin but snail speed if ure connecting in area that has EDGE/GPRS signal regardless of the power of ur modem, so make sure of tht 1st. If ure gettn wcdma/3G signal upwards then i dnt see any reason why u shuld be gettn crappy speeds, cept if the server in tht particular area is overloaded and in that case i guess u'll only have to wait till they expand their bandwidth or they setup a new server and split the load (which may most likely not happn till the imminent asteroid attack kills us ).
Then try and find out from another user in ur area if theyre xperiencing the same thing, buh if its only u then troubleshoot ur pc e.g firewall, spyware, virus etc
mtn claim they have 3.5g, when u connect with ur modem check the signal display at the bottom left of the gui (depending on the type of dashboard ure using) u shuld see a stable 3.5G/HSDPA signal there then the LED on ur modem shuld be light blue or purple.

hmm i disconcurr jorr . Technically it is possible in lag. if u have a 7.2mbps modem then u shuld be gettn nothing less than 900KB/s D/L speed (@full duplex that is).
if ur gettn snail speed with a 7.2mbps modem in lag, then their server is definitely got some serious bug. or berra still check ur pc.

i just wasted 5gig downloading an invalid file

if the resulting file u got from the download is .img or .bin or .iso then its not wasted just mount it on a virtual drive and let it autorun, it shuld probly load up. Then do u use emulators? u will have more varieties doing tht than just sticking to pc roms

*Does Pause Resume matter*. Say If you download a file at a stretch then Its
ok If you pause and resume the download then the problem is happening ?

When you people see the Bandwidth mismatch after restarting the IWP ? or in
the same session?

Also I request you to use DAP for few days and see if problem happens.

nice to know u also wrote them, but i think its either those guys knw whts happenin or they really dont know. in a previous email i sent to them i also explained tht this is not a matter of pause/resume download or whatever, the bandwidth is just zapping! Technically if i subscribed to 18gb data plan by the time im thru with it (say if i used it only for downloads) then my harddrive shuld be equally short of a little higher than 17gb cos this is supposed to be byte for byte, however this is not the case. moreover the bandwidth mismatch happens right in your face n not wen u restart the app nor restart your pc or whtever. the higher the filesize i download the higher the bandwidth loss. It just keeps dropping per every download. This situation does not happn when im using idm with normal bundle., so maybe the iwp server dey get serious issues with idm or somtn.
Then i guess mayb we'll just have to try usin dap 1st and see wht happns, but i dont think it'll make any difference anyway,

Holy Cow! now this is wht i call som decent D/L speed. Tu bad i just cnt get mtn's 7.2mbps modem, i dont think theyre selln those types anymore. i ended up getn their 3.6mbps modem eventually, so d/l speed cant go beyond 480KBps.

lol.lol. sorry mehnn,   na iwp v3.2 dey do you that wayo abi? na so the thing dey do me too oo. there was even a time i subscribed for 54gb infact the thing be like magic i downloaded 7 films and gboa the thing drop to 30gb, like play like play the whole thing sha pafuka under 3days. i checked my mobile partner dashboard statistics Tab & i saw total data downloaded = 14gb approx., idm stats showed me the same thing too, but on the iwp v3.2 gui it says total bandwidth used up! chei! na vexx i use mail those pple o,  but seriously na to go back to v1 or v2 i tink those ones r better other than u need a paid server to enjoy it.
And as for ur download wey no gree resume again it happens alot and its painful, even more painful when ur download don reach like 99% and e no gree complete = the bandwidth is lost and cant be recovered, waiting time nko? wasted.
Truth is if u really wanna enjoy downloading make sure u have a premium account on any1 of the major filehosts like rapidshare, hotfile or megaupload, trust me thts the best & only way u can enjoy downloading with no worries & u can resume ur download anytime u want.

Yup, its for PC. im not a fan of pc gamin tho, & since we can now get Games in stunning HD on newgen consoles, i dont think i'll be goin anywhere near pc gaming. xcept cos of zuma, commandos and some other classic isometric 3d Rpgs. .

silly bizness aint it? IDM de make iwp3.2 de steal bandwidth, mailed them sha and they told me to use DAP and report if i get the same problem, but i dnt lyk DAP that much so ryt nau, my IWP3.2 is sitting still till de rectify their wahala. try DAP and lemme no if it wks

mehnn forget tht one they said jare, the problem is not with IDM that one i know for sure, ive written those guyz bout 4tymes now, they say they know & yet have done sh*t nuffing about it, the best they did @ ONE point in time was refill the lost bandwidth for me, but subsequently the query hits the rock. I told em its either they have a bug in their servers or thats how they Intentionally programmed the iwp app.
For the other tymes ive used "emptyhen"s regular night bundle, i NEVER experienced any irregular bandwith loss and i always use IDM and i get roughly 2.7gb from their 3gb before the connection pafuka , wich id say is fair enuff cos we have to also consider -upload data stats- wich also counts.
But as for iwp v3.2? mehnn they way this thing steals bandwidth is maddd! and i dont think im interested in tryin out dap cos DAP sucks ballz.
I just needed to knw if im the only one xperiencing this, so for now once this 18gb blow finish, na to find another alternative.
Mayb iwpv2 or somn.
