Nigeria's problems with US and Trump are into 2 categories, the most crucial one is Nigeria's stance against Israel occupation of Gaza / Palestine. VP Shetima's speech at the UN was brazen and loud , telling Isreal to Leave Palestine alone just like other western allies did, except US.

Various far-right opinion shapers on social media including Christo-Zionist Eyal Yakoby, pivoted into claims of a Christian genocide in Nigeria, pushing this narrative with the same fervor with which far-right groups have recurrently wheeled out the similarly trumped-up narrative of “white genocide” in South Africa. Other voices, including Zionist US Senator Ted Cruz have sponsored this narrative. It has been retweeted by thousands of X users, 100,000 and more bots, and ranked high in views by the X algorithm. In a similar negative light, talk show host Bill Maher has lent his voice to Israel’s propaganda goals, reiterating lurid claims—since debunked by leading newspapers—of rapes, beheadings, and babies burned alive on October 7. Maher insists he has “seen the videos,” but like every other promoter of this narrative, he has provided no shred of evidence—because it is a lie.

There is no razed community that is predominantly Christian. The violence in Nigeria is in 3 dimensions. Boko Haram. Bandits and Herdsmen and none targets any particular religion. Several Muslims have been killed in the waves of attacks. Imams , Sheiks have been kidnapped. Just last week, the deputy speaker of Yobe was abducted, he's an Alhaji.

The 2nd problem Trump has with Nigeria is Tinubu's refusal to allow Trump dump criminal deportees from other countries in Nigeria.

UAE sent the list of terrorism sponsors in the north but APC government swept it under the rug. Extra judicial killing of Christians go unpunished notable is the redeemed church pastor that was lynched in Kano and Deborah that was burnt to death in broad daylight with the perpetrators posting videos on social media. Even the young airforce Yoruba fighter pilot who was highly trained to neutralise insurgency was killed by her colleagues right in the air force base. Nobody has been prosecuted till date.

APC instead of fighting terrorism until they are defeated choose to placate and reward them. Do you know that there are parts of the north today where farmers pay tax to terrorists before they plant and harvest? The food inflation we are experiencing today is partly due to Northern farmers that were driven from their farms to IDP camps.

Since Tinubu and his APC government choose to be irresponsible I totally support the international community efforts first to call out the government and possibly take action to defeat terrorism once and for all in Nigeria.

This is not the time for emergency patriotism. Tinubu has shown that he doesn't care about daily killing of citizens. All he wants to protect is himself and his reelection while taxing Nigerians to death.
