Yeah, I cancel the trip or deliver it after driving like a KM (bolt) depending if it's a cash or card trip, also depending on the amount of discount bolt is giving the customer.
I make use of other apps as well (indrive basically), though I have Uber and gokada accounts, these two are less dependable.
Most importantly, I hustle for deliveries from vendors especially at Tejuosho market and computer village.
It's always difficult to amass return trips though from island to mainland reason one must get as many as possible while heading there. Half of the times, I return empty.
By the way, I had two separate bolt accounts till last month that bolt blocked one permanently.
Just in case you haven't noticed, if you set an address on your map (normal Google map) bolt will most likely give you a trip similar to that destination, without having to set destination on the bolt app. It works most of the time and it makes it a lot easier.

You're mean, this is so insensitive.
Maybe one day it will happen to you then you'll understand, do you know how many persons who lost customers not because they didn't deliver but because the dispatchers failed to do thier part?
Well it's because nobody is arresting nobody or sueing anybody to court.
Sometimes I shudder at some things I hear drivers do, all in the bid to make money.
It's well.

I for carry 10 naira work go lekki because I wan impress you. If you like dey die of epilepsy, I'm not leaving mainland to island with less than 3 packages.
Only thing I owe you is to let you know I most definitely will source for other jobs to compliment the ridiculous price you're charged.
Most will even offer to pay double which still won't stop me from getting additional jobs on the way. Fuel na 1k per litre no be #100.

There's no guarantee you can get a trip towards that side. If you insist on waiting to get one, you may even up wasting your time.

The best thing is to treat the trip as one at a time.

It doesn't work that way for dispatchers.
There are always jobs to take along if you know your onions. Tejuosho market, Alana international market, Ladipo, computer village, mushin market (depending on one's location) are all guaranteed sources of deliveries. I can't even leave mainland for Island with less than three works no matter the urgency, even if the receiver needs the package to survive. Bolt by the way never disappoints mainland to island.

It's not a car trip though. It's a dispatch trip.

One will definitely go with atleast two different orders which justifies the amount.

Can someone use power bike for dispatch?

I've seen a number of people who use powerbikes and most use Private plate numbers. Judging from my own little experience, it may be difficult to use a powerbike if it's registered as a commercial bike since Agberos, MOT officials and LASAA taskforce will demand you have a branded box or branded bag to be identified as a dispatcher. power bike dispatchers only carry normal back bags because they don't have space for boxes and most even use customized number plates sef which I believe is the reason they don't get disturbed.
Long and short, yeah, powerbikes could be used provided you've met their conditions.
My personal opinion though, I can't advise anyone to do Uber with a venza when Civic or corolla are better alternatives which is almost same as picking a 3 to 4M bike over a 1M or less Qlink bike. You get the logic?

This week has been my most productive week ever since I started my dispatch work. shocked

Latest I closed everyday was 6PM, reason I'm surprised that I still could gross this on bolt alone. shocked

70k? I'm not saying it's feasible to earn this much day to day but on that Sunday that doubles as Sallah day, lmao. I made over 70k and I returned home around 9 PM because bolt doesn't give out jobs to dispatchers from 8 PM for reasons I don't know and I can't work with Uber alone since it pays peanut so I had to return home after I ended the last job I took before 8. If I wanted to work extra hours, I could easily make 100k because orders were crazy.
Attached is a screenshot of my earning in May even as there wasn't surge and as I did plenty offline trips too. Mind you, I pick jobs from Uber and indrive to compliment every long delivery which means this is just a normal month earning on bolt alone (mind you, I didn't work 31 straight days and there were days I just did one trip and returned home).

I made more than this with my bike on that same Sunday. My take home minus fuel, food and commission (although most were offline) was almost 70k.
No one told me to park my car and face my bike. cheesy
