so after being on this thread for a while...am officially a xioamite, the redmi note 4x i bought for some1 arrived today.
quite impressed with the xiaomi build, very sleek, and smooth..and quite impressive apps and settings.
from the tips i learnt here, hv set up the mi acct and locate my device feature etc.....
buying three phones within a short period no easy...phheeewww.
will see wch device has issues first...if ever.

i use my devices for a long long time, the oneplus 5 relegated my 4yr old s5 duos to being a 2nd wife, while my nokia n86 - 9yr old will now be confined to my personal museum of antiquities ..

nb: noticed the PO in benin [ring road] hv started affixing a 1k charge to cell phones.....how do we call them to other b4 it spreads across the nation, other items are still free or hv a 200 to 500 charge.
the RN4x has started downloading an update already....i hope its safe

The battery is good.. I am not a heavy user but I am always connected to the internet, play some game when I am chanced.. I get a day use and sometimes it takes me to the next day. I've not really studied the battery but its good

The camera is good, infact very good. I mean personally, I've used a few high end cameras but for the price, this phone is superb. You won't regret buying it. So far so VERY good.

The phone is awesome.. Steady updates, lovely feel, fingerprint works excellently... Maybe I expected too much from the camera, picture quality is ok.. Comes with play store pre installed.. Oh, and my vr box, I've not really had time for it and ofcos I've not used mine as hammer, maybe when I'm tired of using the phone I'll do that
