Oluchi hold the power button for about 15-30 seconds, till the tab goes off on it's own. The same thing happens to my opposite door neighbor many times, and he brings it to me always.
try it and give me feedback.

I charged the phone to 100% while it was off then I put it on before I knew it, the phone went off. I think the battery ran out

Switch off the device...hold the POWER key together with the down volume key to power the phone and start the resetting process. A command-like window with sometimes a green text appears.den u use the up/down volume keys to scroll screen and use the Power key to select. Locate wipe all. Dat shuld do.. lemme know if it works 4u.
